Really excellent book on the process of concepting
This is the single most practically useful concepting book that I've ever seen in 15 years as an advertising copywriter.It offers a really clear set of questions/conceptual directions you can use to get the juices flowing or "unstick" yourself on a project-- along with real-world examples of how each approach has been used in previous ads. I love it and use it constantly when starting a new project or to help me be sure I've really explored the full range of conceptual possibilities for a project that I'm working on.Great book, worth every penny and 10X that of most of the advertising books I have.

Great Book
I got this book because it was the textbook for my Advertising class. However I really like this book. It has a lot of great information with lots of great examples. I'm not sure what year this book was written but the examples are newer ads compared to some of my textbooks that look like they were written in the 80's. I would recommend this book if you are in any kind of Advertising or want to learn about some different advertising techniques.

A delight
This book covers the past on advertising, why ideas are good, how they're created, and has a vast amount of questions you can work through to create your own adverts. I have this on my lounge table, it's good to flick through and guests like it too. What it doesn't really cover is the new age of advertising as in social networking and complex new technology campaigns. No book can cover the future though, so that's not a criticism. A great book, well worth the cash!

Is Creative Advertising Worth it?
One of the best books I've seen on the topic of working in a creative environment and brainstorming. I have read a lot on the subject and although other methods are alright, none of them seem to be as well field tested as this one is. It lays down principles can be easily implemented in daily firm work or any creative project you set out to do. The examples are great, the chapters are kind of long, but it is well worth the read.

MORE THAN I EVER EXPECTED
This book is just like riding a bike or using a mobile phone: you enjoy the sensation while not considering the process. Providing fresh knowledge about what professionals do in practice, it leads you into what is called creative advertising. Step by step questions and suggestions with real live examples. I have never seen anything like it. If advertising interests you, make time for it!

A fantastic and easy to use catalog of ideas and techniques that's helpful for cracking writer's block or just getting the ball rolling. I'd highly recommend it. Unless you're in my market area, in which case I'd recommend the Electrician's Handbook.

Para aprender y crecer
Esta es la clase de libro que te sirve para trascender en el mundo de la publicidad, entender cómo y por qué funcionan algunas ideas en grandes campañas. Pienso que de haber tenido esta clase de recursos cuando empecé a trabajar en agencias publicitarias, me habría sido más fácil entender muchas cosas. Pero nunca es tarde para aprender ;) Excelente compra :)

Amazing! A staple in your book collection.
Incredible book that helps your creative juices flowing and think of other inisghts beyond the obvious. Anyone curious to learn or is a professional in the industry in ANY position within marketing needs to get this book!

Hallo Inspiration, bye bye Unkreativität!
Während meines Auslandsstudiums im Bereich "Trendwatching" war dieses Buch eine Empfehlung meines Professors. Und ich muss sagen, dass es das beste Buch ist, dass ich mir jemals kaufen "musste".Die Größe und Aufmachung des Buches lässt einen sehr leicht lesen und verstehen. Dieses Buch inspiriert einen einfach, wie man an eine kreative Situation herangehen soll und wie man seinen Horizont in der Richtung erweitern kann. Zusätzlich unterstützen die zahlreichen Bilder/Werbungen die Thesen die beschrieben sind.Es macht wirklich Spaß dieses Buch zu lesen und hat mir in meinem Studium sehr viel gebracht. Das beste Beispiel, dass diese Inspiration beschreibt ist "Wie würden Sie eine richtig scharfe Soße bewerben?" Denken Sie mal drüber nach, ich denke an Peperoni, Feuer, vll. an Schmerzen, aber was in diesem Buch beschrieben wird, bringt einen einfach dazu "out of the box" zu denken!Für alle, die kreativ etwas leisten müssen und gerne auch von Bildern lernen, ist dieses Buch eine echte Empfehlung!
