Authentic Gloves of Some Kind
Folks, I received an "authentic" product. They have silicone on them. They are non slip. They have layers of something. Authentically, they didn't work for me. At all. Not at least in *my* situation. I touched my cast iron pan with them (that had been cooking on the stove for a few minutes) and they immediately heated up inside. So much so that I had to put the pan down. Maybe you actually can stick your hand in a fire with them and not get it burned, I mean if that is your thing, just go for it! I can tell you, I won't be grabbing my cast iron pans out of the oven with them because they became uncomfortably hot inside in seconds. Maybe it wouldn't *actually* have burned me, but I guess I was *expecting* my hands not to feel like they were in a toaster. Maybe that was too much of an expectation. Just so you know, the powers that be told me this was authentic contrary to my OP, and I trust them that it is. Authentically what they think it is. I just wouldn't go around sticking your hands on cast iron with them. Take that for what you will. I'll be using them as snow shoveling gloves since I'm stuck with them.

Not the best option for BBQ
Not a bad glove especially for the money. I purchased for BBQ and heat resistance is good not great. I could grab something at 300 degrees and hold it for several seconds before I could feel the heat creeping through. This would happen much quicker at higher temps. The major problem I ran into was the knit. I was taking a brisket out wrapped in foiled and somehow the bottom tore letting out the juices. Of course that when straight through the knit to my hand, and yes it was very hot. So for BBQ I would recommend the 100% rubber gloves. They won't be as flexible and comfortable as these, but it would have prevented my hand from being burned. One other thing, the fingers are a little tight and short for the palm size. You might be able to prevent by buying a size larger, but then the palm would be too big. So there is a trade off at least for my hand size.

Great grip ...
I absolutely love these gloves. I use them in my kitchen for pots and pans and oven trays. I also use them when I barbecue. They are really great to have. I love that they have slots for each finer AND the nonslip grips. It really helps to make sure I have a good grip on my hot items. My previous oven mitts, both fabric and silicone, would still allow me to feel the heat through. These gloves keep my hand and fingers very safe from feeling any heat. I also gifted a set to my mom and she is very happy with them.

Terrific gloves
I liked everything about these gloves. I used them for the oven and didn't have to worry about dropping a pot holder.I actually purchased them for ironing, so I would't ruin my nail polish (bet you never thought of that). I'm very happy with them.

Gloves had no packaging, no tags, zero care instructions.
I can't say how product worked because I am giving it as a gift but there was extremely poor packaging. The gloves were loose in a ziplock type bag. Zero product material. I feel embarrassed giving this as a gift with no product name on it no tags not even any material that tells about the product or how to care for it. If I had time to buy another brand I would be returning these. This is not a good item to give as a gift.

odd shape and size but really good heat protection
My hands are a womens medium. my husbands are xlarge. The fingers fit me (although a bit long) and the palm fits him. the fingers are rather slim and the palm is huge. At first the opening was so tight we had difficulty getting them on, but the wrist elastic does stretch out a little after a bit of using. Having said that, they are THE BEST heat protection glove I have ever used, so I will put up with a bit of ill-fit.

These gloves are great!
These gloves are great! I use them to manipulate a hot metal tube during a supercritical extraction process. I used to have to stop and wait (15 minutes) for the tube to cool enough to handle through work gloves, but this added complexity. Now, with these gloves, I grab the tube while it's hot (~70C), unscrew the tube, handle it, reverse it, replace it, and all within 3 minutes of needing to do the switching. I can barely tell I am holding anything even warm with these gloves on.
