Compact, stylish, and keeps food hot!
I love this little food jar! The Aqua Blue color is vibrant and fun, and it’s the perfect size for packing soups or oatmeal for my kids' lunches. The wide opening makes it easy to fill and clean, and the vacuum insulation keeps food hot for hours. I’ve even used it for cold treats like yogurt and fruit, and it keeps them cool just as well. The compact design fits easily in lunch bags without taking up too much space. Overall, a great product that combines style and functionality. Con: The inside lid is a bit hard to clean.

Another great Zojirushi product
This jar keeps my soups and stews steaming hot for around 8-10 hours easily even in cold conditions. Its easy to clean, use, maintain, and has always impressed me since I bought it a year ago. I own their thermoses' as well and they are my go to for keeping my coffee hot at work. I've tried others but once I bought Zojirushi I haven't looked back. Fantastic quality

Beautiful and most effective Lunch Box for your hot meals
Have several of these Zojirushi food jars and thermos’s from 12 years ago. They are still like new and effective for keeping the hot foods hot. We needed one more for daughter’s school and got this one. Seems a bit pricey but in the long run is great value for the money. SHe loves this color, the lid closure is snug, no leakage and fits perfectly in her school lunch bag.

Keeps food hot but could be bigger
It works very well at keeping food hot. I usually heat up something in the morning around 6:30AM and put it into the food jar. When it's time for me to eat my lunch around 12PM, the food is still nice and hot, but not incredibly hot that you'll burn yourself. In other words, it's usually cooled down just slightly enough that it's ready to eat right away. I sometimes miss my lunch and when I check on the food jar hours, it's still very warm. Functionality-wise, the jar works very well. I typically use it for things like soups, stews, and chili. I think the more volume you use up, the better it retains heat. While this jar does it's job well, I have a few complaints. The first is the size: you can fit a decent amount that might be okay for someone that works an office job and doesn't eat much. I work in a laborious outdoor job so I burn a lot of calories and get quite hungry. I can fit about 2 cups of chili into this jar, which isn't enough for me to get full but it's enough to ease the hunger. If you're in a similar situation to me, you might want to consider bringing extra snacks. Another issue is that the opening is rather small. This makes it a bit difficult to eat out of. In addition, the spoon you have might have trouble reaching the bottom, so bringing a long handled spoon may be helpful for that. I wish they would make this jar with a wider shape. The current shape makes it more suited for the types of food I mentioned earlier, but it's kind of hard if you prefer something like chicken and rice with veggies unless you mix it all up. Overall, it does the job well, but I think Zojirushi should make another design that is wider and less cylindrical shaped to accommodate more different kinds of meals.

Well designed and works well
I'm a soup and stew lover for lunch when I'm out and about. This keeps my food hot for a minimum of 6 hrs. I haven't tested it for more than that, but I suspect it could go 8 hrs. easily. I don't like eating at fast food places, so when I'm on the road, I pull over at a rest area and enjoy homemade chili, veggie beef soup etc., and a sandwich and I'm good to go. I really like the fact that the wide mouth enables me to eat directly out of the jar and get every last drop. I've not tried it with various pasta favorites (mac and cheese, spaghetti, etc.), but I believe it will do well. With a capacity of 25 oz. it holds plenty of food for one person, and I like to eat. 🤠. I know it doesn't have a fold open spoon like some, but I just rubber band a real soup spoon to the jar from my kitchen drawer. No big deal.

Can't go wrong with Zojirushi
I can’t say enough good things about the Zojirushi Steel Food Jar! This product truly works like black magic when it comes to insulation. It keeps my food hot for hours—perfect for soups and curries for lunch. I’ve even had meals still steaming when it’s time to eat! Durability is another standout feature. I’ve been using this food jar almost daily for over 5 years, and it still performs like new. It’s definitely built to last! The only downside I’ve encountered is cleaning the lid. Food tends to accumulate in the crevice, which can be a bit of a hassle. I’ve found that a thin flexible brush works wonders, or sometimes I just soak it overnight in soapy water for a thorough clean. Overall, despite the minor cleaning inconvenience, I wholeheartedly rate the Zojirushi Steel Food Jar 5 out of 5. It’s an indispensable part of my daily routine, and I highly recommend it!

Excellent Design - Easy to Clean
I've been using this jar to do overnight oats for a long time now, but excellent for yogurt or soup as well. The 11.8 oz is the perfect size for one hearty serving for a ~200 lb man. The gasket/lid seal is very well designed. I've had zero leaks no matter what I've done with the jar. There is a steam/pressure relief in the lid, as well as a small storage compartment for dry toppings/ add-ins. The jar and lid is super easy to clean. Immerse in a some soapy water, use a sprayer faucet attachment to flush out the lid; rubber gasket is easy to remove, clean, and replace. I recommend you use silicone or plastic utensils when eating out of this jar though, as they won't scratch the highly polished interior and will preserve the easy cleaning. High Quality product.
