A Mother Daughter Journal: Just Mom and Me Paperback – November 1, 2017

My daughter and I have done about four of these types of journals starting when she was probably 13, she is about to turn 15. Most have lots of different questions on each page. This was quite unimaginative as nearly every other page was “Tell me a story” . I could get a blank notebook and we could pass it back and forth writing each other stories about the past. We ended up throwing it away and buying a different one. It’s fine to throw in a couple pages like that but when half the book is like that it’s not realistic. A young child probably won’t be able to do it and frankly most older kids aren’t interested in it, in my experience.

This is a book that will help you become a friend for your daughter, you can share stories, feelings and impressions, as well as get to know your child better. I found great ideas in this book that will help me bring my relationship with my daughter to the highest level - the level of trust.

This lovely designed journal was a Godsend to my daughter and I. It was the perfect way for us to communicate together and have fun also. The book is just the right size to carry in a handbag and can be used anywhere. The journal prompts are well designed to give a mixture of fun activities as well as those designed to enhance communication and get to know each other on a much deeper level. We also found that using the journal helped us to understand that we are coming from different places and this aided our understanding of the other's perspective. What a clever and easy way for mom and daughter to bond without the pressure.

Just Mom & Me. A really nice book. Creates a lovely bonding experience, wonderful to make a few notes with your little one after bedtime stories. I thoroughly recommend.

This is a great journal! I bought it for my 7 year old and it’s absolutely perfect! Will be buying for my youngest daughter once she comes to the age she can journal

A very useful way to talk to an otherwise quite child who doesn't express herself easily. Hoping that this journal will help us both understand eachother and communicate more effectively.
