Explorer Guitar Plans - Full Scale Design Plans - to make guitar

Just what I needed

So I made a guitar based on these plans. It looks great and sounds great but there's a hitch. These plans have you making a guitar that's bigger than a real Gibson Explorer. Not a big deal until you go looking for a case to protect your hard work. I tracked down an actual Gibson Explorer case and the guitar is about 1 3/8" too wide on the part that your arm rests on. I would suggest to anyone using these plans to buy a case first and see if a paper cutout of the body will fit and if not scale it back until it will. I had to cut back an already finished guitar which is no fun.
