I like this product so much I bought two of them each in a different size. When people come to my house they definitely notice these chalkboards and it becomes interactive as they like to write and draw on them. This gives me something to look at every day and makes me smile. I am no good at installing things but I felt this was pretty easy to mount on the wall. It is good quality and it helps me with organization, too. I can put a calendar on it for work which helps me keep track of my schedule. I am so glad I got this color it matches everything in my house perfectly.

I've seen and used various white-/chalk-/bulletin boards for years both at home, school, and work, but mostly out of necessity. Got this one because of the versatility and attractiveness of chalk signs. This one is so simple and well-made that you will come up with reasons to use it that you didn't even have before. You can feel the quality from when you open the box. It's packaged well with nice foam corners (not the stuff that falls apart), and got here through normal shipping without blemish. The wood is nice and solid, the surface is smooth and it's easy to write on. Really shines with chalk markers. It's easy to erase as often as you want. The fact that it's magnetic means you can attach other media to it as well.The size of this board makes it useful for many things: a family board that everyone in the house can write on, a nice big surface for leading a group or teaching, a noticeboard or sign in a community space, a huge area for kids to draw on (you could put it at their eye level, instead of doing something permanent like chalkboard paint). We're going to use it to keep track of vacation funds, and we'll still have room left over. That said, it's very unobtrusive and doesn't protrude from the wall more than an inch or so. It comes with its own mounting hardware, which is easy to use.I'd recommend it to everyone. If you have a specific use for it, you'll love it. If you can't already think of a use, you'll find one!

I don't use these blank chalkboard signs for the intended use (as a chalkboard), so my review will be a bit different than other reviews. The wood frame is very nice. I have yet to have a problem with the quality - and I have bought several of these. I have found that vinyl sticks to the chalkboard as well as I had hoped. The signs I make always look professional thanks to the rustic frame and the chalkboard being of really nice quality. People are always impressed with the results.

It took 3 times to receive this item. 1st time Amazon sent the wrong item. 2nd time the product was damaged as it came with creases and bumps, not at all a smooth surface. But thr 3rd time was the absolute charm. It was worth not giving up. Love the item. Surface is smooth and works very well with chalk markers from the same brand! I modified mine using washi tape to make it my own for my son's activities.

Very nice item, but it already has fingerprints & a small amount of damage on the blackboard - hopefully it will be fine, as it is attractive otherwise. Haven’t yet tried it out…

The board was packaged well. The frame is beautiful, I ordered the rustic wood. The surface is wonderful... smoothe and clean. I was looking for a board that was big enough and the surface was slate. I've ve used acrylic paints on slate i.e. craft chalkboards or actual roof slate, so I know that acrylic paints work well. This a perfect size for the kitchen sign I'm making. The board is well built and if it's not actual SLATE, it sure looks and feels like it. I wouldn't normally pay that much for a chalkboard, but it had everything I needed. It was worth it!

Cute! Feels very sturdy. We needed something simple for our dining room. Should last us a long time. My daughter had fun filling it out this week.
