Hartke Amplifier Footswitch (HD112 Bass Cabinet)

First of all both Amazon and Gearnuts (third party Hartke Hydrive HD112 retailer) were great on customer service. I purchased the Hartke LH500 amplifier and the speaker cabinet. I expected more volume than i could use and more important low end tone quality, mellow tube amp like sound. I was greatly disappointed. The rig sounded thin, trebly and under powered. The low end had a distorted overdrive sound that I could not dial out or switch out i.e. limiter etc. I took the head to a local music store that had a new Hartke HD 115 cabinet that i hooked the head up to. I got same poor tone but slightly more volume. I have and use a simple Acoustic combo 100 watt solid state w 15 inch speaker. Honestly the acoustic sounded as good and equaled the volume of the Hartke rig. Anyway I returned both and these guys were great at crediting me. One review I read before purchasing this rig was " where's the other 400 watts". I agree.
