no need to worry about if your equipment support different voltage of the USA others just passed voltage to the equipment this one give you 110 all the time everywhere. I traveled UK and Europe with no problem

We bought three for moving to the UK, after one day one of the three is broken/not working anymore. Expensive thing for one day use.

The box itself gets very warm and hot when charging anything. We had bought two of these for our family to use while traveling overseas. We plugged it in the first night and noticed that it worked but it started making this odd clicking and zapping noise. My dad went to unplug his USB from the box and it shocked him! We were all pretty surprised. Tried plugging in my phone charger after that and it fried it. Maybe both of our were defective? There was also an awful burning smell coming from both of them. Long story short, we are returning them and will never buy anything like this again. 10/10 would NOT reccomend.

I have sustained two terrible shocks from touching this unit while in use. Further, one of my USB cords began to emit smoke when plugged into this unit, this converter is not safe for use. I'm surprised to find many others have has similar occurrences while this remains on the market. I have ordered a different converter and will never use this again.
