This took my 14 year old grandson 5 hours to build, and he’s been having fun with it ever since. The thumb retraction could be better, but otherwise it works pretty slick.

Le principe semble sympa, l'objet en lui-même est génial, mais, dans les cures-dents que l'on doit insérer dans les trous sont d'une part dangereux pour un enfant et de deux trop gros pour les trous ce qui rends l'assemble fastidieux et difficile même équiper de matériel de maquettiste....sans parler que lorsque l'on doit couper l’excédent de cure-dent, ces derniers s'envolent en tous sens ce qui encore une fois rends l'usage trop dangereux pour un enfant.....Une fois monter (non sans difficulté) toutefois il reste un objet fort intéressant et qui saurant amuser nos petits anges.

It's really cool! This was my first wood build and was very fun. It's like a Terminator hand! I didn't pay close attention to the sanding points so it doesn't quite work as well as it could have but that's my fault not the kit. I also accidentally flipped the board where the fingers attached to and by the time I realized it I was too far in but luckily I was just able to flip the board where your hand goes in to make it a left hand instead of a right hand. I built it as an art piece anyways so I'm going to order another and built the right hand to complete the set. The thumb mechanism is kinda wonky but again - an art piece for me so not bothered by it one bit. Might be a little challenging for a first build but if your patient enough and follow the directions you will be very happy with the outcome!
