We have two larger size dogs and have struggled with the sometimes overwhelming urine smell around the yard. We have tried everything from scented cleaners to bleach and nothing has done much more than temporarily mask the odors. Then we tried Pee Hero. What a game changer! The product is super simple to mix and apply using a basic garden sprayer and it works amazingly well! The product goes to work right away to control the odors and keeps working long after the initial application. I followed the package directions to reactivate the product if I start noticing any odors again. Pee Hero has performed well above my expectations. Very happy with this purchase and I will definitely be a retuning customer.

Dog rescue is very rewarding, but it has its challenges. When my rescued Great Dane presented with symptoms of Coccidia, it was a done deal that the others would get it. Three large dogs "doing their duty" day and night in a small yard was not what I call a bowl full of cherries. One of those giants even has bladder issues, so he urinates every 30-minutes. 130lb dog with urinary incontinence = Yellow Nile in yard. Ok, I've set the stage only to say, this stuff works! My yard was disgusting even though I was out there cleaning up after every "movement." I rinsed and raked, shoveled and sprayed, but the smell was nauseating. I pitied the neighbors and figured any hope of her famous Christmas cookies making their way to my house this year was a big, fat, jolly, old NO WAY, JOSE! Then, I watched the video from Urea-Z and had a tinge of holiday hope. I ordered it, unpacked it, mixed it with water and sprayed away. It was like a Christmas miracle. The smell was gone; so is the Coccidia, by the way, and we all are living happily ever after. THE END.

The Urea-Z solution worked phenomenally to eliminate the smell from my turf - this is with 2 medium/large dogs and in a hot southwest climate. I think that the manufacturer undersells the strength - I spray once 200-300 sq feet) and the effect lasts for a good month or more. I'll certainly be continuing to order their solution, and anticipate using 3-4 bottles per year (for reference, I've used one 16-oz bottle, and I think it will get me 4-5 months, though I waited a bit too long before the second application).My only complaint is that the 1-gallon sprayer which comes with the starter kit is a bit flimsy. It works pretty much fine, but I suspect it will break in 2-3 years.

I recently moved in to a home with a small yard and didn’t want it to wreak of dog pee so I did some research and found this product. It seems to help so far and I like that it’ll work with artificial turf as I plan to change most of the yard to artificial turf once it cools down enough to work outside. The main reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is actually because of the sprayer. The handle is not very ergonomic and the lever is hard to press up so it’ll continuously spray. I have fibromyalgia and the first time I used this my thumb was sore for days after. Might seem silly to most people but I know there are better handles for the sprayer out there so if you too are sensitive, I’d recommend not buying their starter kit, just buy the liquid from UREA and buy your own sprayer elsewhere with a better handle.

This does work well to get rid of smell. I have a small backyard with artificial turf, and I live in Colorado where it is very hot and dry in the summer. The only challenge is that it can be so hot and sunny it's hard to find a good time to use it. But so far I'm happy. My only suggestion to users is not to make a whole gallon the firs time you use it, as it seems like a little goes a long way. And also, for the manufacturer to put ounce markings on the side of the container so one doesn't have to use a measuring cup.

Used this stuff on the carpet that my dogs had peed on and it still smells like piss! What a waste of money!

Sprayer had missing parts and the product is expensive for how many times it takes to treat an area

I was unable to enjoy my backyard because the smell was so bad! Of course I love my dog but dang the smell was killing me. I love that they send an instructions sheet that’s so easy to follow and simple steps that can easily fit into your regular routine of life. Believe me I have 3 kids if this took more time out of my day I’d be done with it but it’s definitely been a life saver especially since the kids can play outback again since it doesn’t smell like a nasty toilet. Thank you Urea-Z for creating a product that actually works!
