AUTOMATE 7145A 4-Button Replacement Ask Remote Control Transmitter

The "valet" button is on the wired transmitter that is on the windshield. It's a little black, plastic box that has about a 1" antenna. It also has the blue, blinking light. My horn did not beep or anything. I use this only for remote start & lock / unlock.- open a door, insert key & turn on, but don't start engine. Press the Valet button once, then press & hold that same button. Do not release the button @ the same time, press the AUX button on the side of remote.Works GREAT!

This was very easy to program and works perfect. Much less expensive than returning to the installation location and getting a replacement! Good quality, not a pice of cheap junk.

I ordered two remotes came without no instructions at all and there's hundred's of instruction on you tube so witch one do I use. I wont be ordering from this buttwipe again I may just return them and order them from the place I bought them the last time cause it came with instructions. These remotes are good for if you use them a couple times a day but I have a service van with a alarm so I set it every time I get out of the van I change battery's once a week and replace the remotes twice a year not by choice

Followed the directions for pairing and it would not pair even after trying several different times. Ended up using the chip from my old remote in the new housing but it still glitches and refuses to works on occasions.

As of yet, I have not been able to program this to my car. Although this is an exact replacement, programing it seems to be a problem. If I can't resolve this, I will have to bite the bullet and ask my dealer for assistance (at a price).If anyone has programing tips, I would greatly appreciate it. This is for a 2005 Toyota Corolla.

I ordered this remote and it took me some effort to get it to work. So I'm hoping this review finds the next person that needs this help. First and most importantly the function/ command button is not on the remote. Second there is a reset switch somewhere in the car that needs to be switched on and off. Third ( make sure you have the right instructions. To make it work; switch on and off the reset switch for the alarm itself. Then turn the car to the on position. Now press and release the button on the transever. Now hold the button again, but don't release it and car horn should sound. Continue to hold the button at the same time hold the lock button on the remote, once the horn sound you are done. Turn everything off and lock the door.
