I bought the large size to use on my golden retriever. I have used other brushes on her before but none worked as well as this. My husband has cut back on her food because he thought she was overweight. After a few days of using this shedding tool we realized she is in good shape, so much of her "fluffiness" was due to extra undercoat! She doesn't seem to mind the brushing with this tool, enjoys it much more than any other I've used on her. In fact, when I tried using it on our cat, she came back over to get brushed again, trying to get between me and the cat. I've actually just ordered the 46 mm size for the cat, I think that size will work better. The 100 mm is too wide for a cat. I tried buying the Sergeants brand for the cat because it looked the same, but the fine comb portion was nothing like the Desheddinator and didn't work the same at all; don't be fooled by look alikes, get the real deal.

I have a very hairy Golden Retriever who sheds all over my home. I probably pick up the equivalent of an entire dog's worth of hair off the floor each week she sheds so much! This brush is very helpful for getting excess hair and undercoat off her and reducing shedding. My only problem is finding the time to brush her in my busy schedule, but that's another story! When she does get brushed with this brush it does make a huge difference to what I see on the floor. Plus she is in heaven when she is being brushed. Back foot up scratching in unison with my brushing, close eyes, rolling over for more - you get the picture. Love this...

This did not last through one feeding after I took it out of the package. She was able to rip the top of the pineapple off, so that's a bit of a choking hazard or at the least a vet visit if she would have swallowed it. Definitely disappointed

Love this product! Just got it yesterday and it's pretty epic. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it makes almost a tearing sound as it's being used on my dog. At first, I thought I was hurting her. Then I realized that it makes that sounds when there's lots of loose hair to snag in the undercoat. She was pretty distracted by the noise at first. Eventually she just lasted down and let me comb her. 😊 Once most of the hair is gone, the sound stops. I think it is also possible to scratch your pet if you press too hard in an area that isn't as full (leg area, around underside of chest). I'm learning that the main thing is to vary pressure with coat thickness, and to go with the growth pattern of fur. Also, it'll take several passes to collect all the fur if this is not done regularly. I bought the large one for my pit/choc lab mix. It would be nice to also have the smaller one for around her arms, tail and chest. This product is a total floor saver!

A good idea, but after a while it flips too easily while brushing. Solidly built and otherwise good.

amazing brush. works wonders on my 2 german shepherds. takes off so much hair that they look like they've lost weight after a good brush. and the pile of fur is substantial. no more paying the groomer to do this job. worth every penny!

I didn’t have the option to choose a size, so I went off the description which states “LARGE DOGS”. I assumed I was ordering a large toy, but what I got was the small. Bummed out.

This pineapple is easy for my dogs to grab a hold of and carry around. They love it! My lab chews it all day everyday!
