These filter rings are packed in mesh filter bags - they are easily cleaned in the filter. In addition, these can be removed from the media bag and placed in the filter. The large surface area of these filter rings allows beneficial bacteria to colonize and biofilter your aquarium water - removing ammonia and nitrite. Please note: This will be sent as two 500g net bags - meaning there will be 500g per media bag.
