Overpriced magnets is pretty wild

I am EXTREMELY pleased with how perfectly these SS300 fit my OEM filter on my 2011 Outback 3.6R. Like they were made for this exact filter. They snapped right on and, an added bonus, could actually have some heat-rejecting effect for the passenger side exhaust header. Such inexpensive insurance against ferrous particles that cause abrasive wear.I’ve used GoldPlug oil plugs for years (and have one on this vehicle, too), but the FilterMag contains on the order of 40-50 times as much magnetic mass according to my mark1-mod0 eyeball.I say USE BOTH (I always buy GoldPlugs on Amazon as well).If you’re not planning on keeping your car past 100k miles, don’t bother. My Subie has 153,000 miles as of July 2020, still runs like brand new (literally; just had new NGK Iridium Spark plugs installed), and I intend to nearly double this mileage. So this is cheap and easy preventative maintenance.

Very easy to use. Protect my engine

I use this on my oil filter for a 2001 Silverado 5.3L. It fits perfect. The magnet hold any metal from circulating throughout the engine.

Product fit well. I thought that it could have been a little bit wider to cover more surface area, that is why I gave it a 4.

for 125 $ i can buy 1000 magnets and cover the filters and the oil pans for the entire neighborhood cars !
