What sold me on this was the angled sliding hooks; the angle for easy hanging and the sliding for versatility. You really want both of these features and not every pot rack sold has them, no idea why. Its ergonomically intuitive and should be a standard. Not difficult to install, especially if you've ever mounted your typical towel rack. Has a little piece that slides over the screw, you screw it into the wall, slide the bar mount over it, and tighten down to the screw with the little allen wrench/hex key included. Even included a back up piece used to secure it to the screws in case one was lost, as they are tiny. Very pleased, affordable, very functional solution to the problem of storing pots & pans in limited space. Assuming your cookware is in good shape, its pretty attractive too.

The rack itself is sturdy and well made. I like the fact that the hooks are on rings so that they won't fly off. This rack is great for light loads (utensils, coffee mugs, and the like), it does not work well for heaver loads. 1) the anchors provided with the set were much larger than the screws provided. I didn't realize that before I drilled the holes. I ended up having to use anchors inside of anchors in order to get a secure mounting. 2) I am using the rack for frying pans, including a cast iron fry pan. wWhile well under the maximum rated load, I can see that the rack is beginning to angle downwards from the weight. (obviously, this is due in part to point1 above. ). I will end up replacing this rack at some point in the next several months. when I do, I will be looking for a rack with a wider footprint for better weight distribution.

I love this rack. I got two of them and so far they are solid as a rock. That said, while installation isn't necessarily that difficult once you know what you're doing, they really don't help you out with the directions at all. I ended up going onto youtube and finding a video tutorial which was incredibly helpful. You also have to be meticulous with your measurements? But...once it's up it's FABULOUS. Mine is holding up light utensils and heavy pans so.....so far so good.

The product in the Amazon photos is not quite the one you receive. More specifically, if you look at the third and fourth Amazon photos of the product you'll see the hooks and rod shown have a much tight and smooth look than the ones you receive. They even look more like nice chrome and nylon than the loose matte metal on metal that you get. The head of one of the pre-installed allen screws came already stripped. I had to take it out with a slightly larger allen key and put back in a replacement one. By the way, the allen key they came with was bent.

I bought the fixture for a cupboard on which I intended to hang some copper pans with stainless accents. Then I took it out of the packaging and the adventure began. How in the devil you hang this thing is a puzzle known only to a few. Amazon gives you a clue in the description, but other than that , you are on your own. Unnecessarily difficult and unless you are a contractor, you wouldn't know how to do this. A half page of instruction and this baby would be a 5-star across the board.

First off, the product packaging was crushed at both ends. Not sure if it had instructions or not, but if you are not handy, (like me) you will have a hard time trying to figure out how to get this on your wall.If there are instructions, someone please send me them with all other product information. I like to know who the manufacturer is as well as other contact info.
