Worked perfectly, solved a huge problem
My 10 lb minpin mix had a stroke so she needs support. The xs size worked perfectly, she peed on her own for the 1st time once I held her up in this sling! Thick sturdy material with big clips and wide straps. She is well supported when I lift her. Looks to be washable which is a huge plus.

Life saver
We bought this harness in October 2023 when my dog fractured her shoulder and we had to amputate her front leg. We later found out that she had cancer. She got around exceptionally well on 3 legs and wound up rarely needing it but we would still harness her up in case she ever needed human support. Fast forward to summer 2024 and she slips a disc. Her back legs become *partially* paralyzed, and we weren’t sure if she would regain mobility. She regained some, but is still wobbly. She’s happy and playful and confident, so we didn’t put her down. Now we’re in fall 2024 and she’s having a hard time physically. We’ve made her Appointment with a capital A.And let me tell you, we would not have had a lot of that last year with her, especially the last 3 months, if it weren’t for this harness. She’s an odd size for a pointer - muscular and broad but small. She’s usually on the smaller size of a large and bigger than a medium. This harness fit her so well. It provided support to her front when she needed it, and her back when she needed it. It was comfortable to hold, and durable, and strong. It is absolutely worth every penny. I’m confident if she ever were to fall when I’m not holding her, the small padding would keep her safe. It is a little warm for her, so when she’s lying down for extended periods of time or walking around on her own, we’ll loosen it, so we can grab it in a pinch but she gets more air flow, and that hasn’t bothered her.Thank you for giving my girl her confidence and independence, as well as me and my family peace of mind. I love you, Bella.

Third time's the charm
Ok. First I ordered a different style [from same company] but it had to be fastened using the buckles and my dog just was not having it, so I ordered this style in Small [I have a 14 pound Pekingese girl]. This style is better because it hooks with velcro only and all you have to do is get the two front legs through the holes and then it wraps around the dog and you connect with the velcro. She can wriggle one foot out of one of the holes if she really tries to. It seems a tad large and sort of bunches up a little bit and the getting one foot out made me order the EXTRA SMALL. Well, it came yesterday and it was just totally too small....would not even go around her chubby little body LOL. She is not fat but Pekingese have larger chests. Today I returned the other style one, as well as the extra small one, and will keep the SMALL. She has back knees that 'go out' sometimes and she limps around so sometimes needs help which means I end up carrying her. Now, perhaps when her knees go through a bad spell, I can just help her with this contraption. I'm still not sure it will work satisfactorily, but for the low price, it's worth having it just in case. Oh...and I believe that I could just carry her like a suitcase up/down stairs also...I carried her around the house like that and she seemed to like it!

Size up ⬆️
Gave 3 stars only due to needing to size up; up to 100# is not correct. Great quality though.

First day impressions
Ok my dog is upper end of range on chest and mid range on weight for the large size.It fits him well. Any longer though and he would have problems peeing. So if you have a not so long dog you might need to modify and trim an inch or two offLooks comfortable enough to leave on all the time. My dog doesn’t mind clothes. Feels like quality fabric. We’ll see how it holds upThe handle unclips easily so he can walk around without it and we can clip on to get him up and down stairs.First Cary up stairs went well. He didn’t mind at all.A LOT easier than attempting to pick him up—he wiggles and legs go everywhere—in a panic. So this seems to be a lot less stress for himI need to play around with the handle strap adjustment to see what works best. A bit long was fine for me as I am tall. Adjusting for smaller and weaker members of the household will be the issue. The carrying position is a lot easier on my back than picking him up which requires poor and unsafe lifting posture. So I’m thrilled for nowOne month updateThis is great! Much easier getting him up and down stairs. He can help a little too. He wears it all the time. I have the straps adjusted real short and I tied up the excess strap material with a couple of hair ties so the handle strays on all the time and whenever he needs a lift it is quick and easy. He rarely rolls on his back so the handle isn’t in the way for him at all. Not sure if it would be a problem for a dog that likes to roll around a lot.The vest is very comfortable for him. It looks nice on him even with the handle attached. It has survived the first wash no problem (I let it air dry ). It seems pretty durable and well made. Thick material, no loose strings or trim, seems to be sewn well. I may consider getting a second one to make more frequent washing convenient, but it doesn’t seem to get dirty any faster than he does.My dog was apparently hit by a car early in his life and his back legs always worked a little goofy. Now that he is older some nerve degeneration and arthritis are making things more difficult. I got this when he sprained something back there, and he REALLY was having trouble and pain walking and climbing was out of the question. It has helped him with the acute problem which seems to have mostly healed nowPerhaps the only minor downside is that he expects to be assisted to get on the bed now and he tries less on his own, and whines for help when he knows someone is around.
