Yale P-Ylpr-WH White Letter Plate Restrictor for Pvcu, Wooden, and Composite Doors

Not finding my mailbox integrated in my UPVC door very safe, specially at night when your car keys can be taken using a fishing rod through the mail box, I decided to install this restrictor and I have to say that is brilliant. It is sturdy, comes with a rubber ring to not damage the flap and the fixings are painted in white so they blend with the colour of the door. The only con is that you have to remember to close it at night and open it in the morning, but that has nothing to do with the product, just how you use it.100% recommended.

Easy to install very sturdy and most of all it adds security to my letter box will stop annoying people trying to push things through it I don't want at night just have to remember to adjust it for the post man

Good little devise could so with a better lock idea though as its fairly easy to force it open.

Having two massive dogs I was worried about if these would be strong enough but they work a treat!I also needed a way to close the letterbox but didn’t want to leave permanent damage, with the option for completely shut, partially open or fully open this answered my needs

I installed these on a letterbox so it can be shut during firework season. Easy install and locking and unlocking is simple and fast.

Arrived quite badly bent even though it was in secure packaging. Because of how bent out of shape it is it doesn't work at all

Ideal if you have an outdoor postbox, to stop people continually ignoring it and using the letterbox. Ideal if you have dogs.
