They hold poop like a champion, that's the best you can hope for.
I mean, what else needs to be said? They're poop bags, I use them when my doggo does a poop on the ground and I pick said poop up (as I am a responsible doggo owner). They are thicker than some others I've had to use and so far (touch wood) the integrity of the bags has held and I have never had a poop spillage moment. They are quite big so I feel confident that my hand is fully covered when I'm on poop patrol and there is plenty of space to tie a knot in them.I only have a small doggo and thus his poops are in proportion to his size, but I feel that these bags would handle the poop of a much bigger doggo, like a labrador maybe. Any *really* big doggo might need a double bagger but I can't say for certain.I also like them as they're apparently made from corn starch and thus are fully bio-degradable and not just degradable like some others (it's better for the environment so I'm told). I'm trusting their claims on this and hope I haven't fallen foul of some marketing poop.Anyway, I feel I have said poop too much in this review, but I think it's warranted and I stand by my decision.Poop.

Not a pure cornstarch bag
So I was looking for a dog waste bag that did not contain EPI and would compost down.EPI addertives break down plastic into micro plastic, these bags are a mixture of plastic, EPI and cornstarch and they really do not make this clear, they are better than pure plastic waste bags but still only a halfway house if your looking for a true compostable bag.Shame really and they should make this clear in the description.

Fantastic deal!
One of the first things that hit me when we first got our puppy was the expense we would have to make in her lifetime in bags and how using just any bag wasn't going to cut it. We're not obsessively environmentally friendly at home, but this bag issue did bug me, so I decided we would only be buying biodegradable bags, even if they came at a premium. Soon before we finished the first box of bags, I went to look for a good deal and found these bags. We couldn't be happier with them as they feel a lot sturdier than our old ones and the fact that they're compostable gives us peace of mind. They're the standard size to fit standard holders and come with a card tube in the middle. We haven't any problems with the ripping or anything like that, and at less than 3p per bag, you can't go wrong. I thoroughly recommend them!

Good value
Bought these bags as I wanted to switch over to biodegradable ones. They do the job and don't feel too thin or like they're going to break (not had any hand-in-poo incidences yet!)However there are 2 main issues I have with these: 1) the packaging it comes in has an unnecessary plastic window on it which is a bit of a let down as I brought these to try and be more environmentally friendly, and 2) there are stickers on every roll to stop it unravelling but I can't get these off without ripping the top bag as they don't peel off nicely so that means a wasted bag for every roll. These weren't that big of an issue but just a bit annoying, hence why I've dropped 1 star, however I would probably still buy these again

Never caught out .
I used to buy doggy poop bags loose, and had to stuff them in my pockets and bags, which could be a nuisance. Then I saw these doggy bags in rolls which fit into a dispenser, which I just attach to the dog lead, so every time I go out with my dog a know I have poop bags . Also they are biodegradable which helps the environment, which means alot to me.

Some handling issues
I think these are stronger - more tear resistant - than the My AlphaPet Compostable Dog Poop Bags I used last time, but points off for the fairly useless perforation between each bag on the roll. Very difficult to see where it is and several times I've inadvertently damaged a bag so it's useless. Main thing though is the difficulty of getting a newly-detached bag to open so you can collect the dog's deposits. The plastic sides stick together and you need wet fingers or to rub the bag between your palms to create an opening. Also, given the trouble I went to at last order time to find real compostable bags to appease the Omnipresent Spirit of St Greta, I'm hacked off to discover from another reviewer that these bags, apparently, aren't the real deal I imagined them to be. Will St G ever forgive me?

Sturdy big bags, not like the veg ones, save the planet buy these!
Been looking for something like this for ages, trying to reduce plastic successfully but seeing how many poop bags i get through with 2 huskies flattened my heart as they are my biggest plastic waste contributor. These are fab, they are not like the ones you get for your veg bins so dont worry they wont waste away as soon as you get a poop in them, they are thicker and have a different feel to them. The bags are really big so can fit plenty of poop and unlike with the plastic bags seem to hold in any smell really well!My only gripe is that they are a little bit see through, but if thats all i have to put up with to help save our planet its not a problem for me!I will now be adding these to my repeat purchase list!

Sturdy, large enough and good to know compostable
Very happy with the product, they are a good size and very sturdy considering they're compostable. I did also contact the seller to ask if I could buy poo bags on there own, without the holder (a waste of plastic, which is the thing I'm trying to avoid) and they promptly informed me that they'll soon be offering boxes of bags without the holder. Great company and quick to reply to queries
