Works great
It made cleaning the brick around my fireplace insert a breeze and the glass just wiped right off and both of them were pretty bad.

It works , keeps you expectations realistic
I used the brick cleaner to clean the bed. I already cleaned the walls with a mix of vinagre, soap and water. The bed area was very dirty and the fireplace insert was seating right on it (it protruded from the wall). The water mixture helped but I needed something a bit stronger but not sting enough to create fumes and destroy the brick. This product removed a lot of dirt. You can see on the 2nd picture that I still have stains. I don’t think I can remove them without destroying the brick. I’m happy with the results. The product was nice to work with, no unpleasant odors. Actually, I didn’t smell anything. My fireplace with the new insert looks nice, very farmhouse style (not the style of the room lol). It looks used without being dirty. I’m happy with the cleaner. It did a good job. I use a blue scotch pad to clean the brick. I haven’t used the glass cleaner yet.

Works Well with Cordless Drill Brush
It worked great, but you have to use a brush adapter for your cordless drill to really scrub them clean.

Wish this would’ve worked better
I had high hopes for the product after reading all of the reviews. We have a stone fireplace that has soot residue and we had tried multiple ways to clean it to no avail before stumbling on this product.Although it did help to get rid of a little bit of the soot it did not even fade the soot halfway. We applied it several times. It might work better on other surfaces but it was not very helpful on my stone.

Awesome!
So full disclosure, I’m going to whitewash the fireplace tomorrow so I didn’t scrub super hard. I left this on just enough to put the cleaner on with the brush over the full fireplace and then I started at the beginning to wipe it off. I found a sponge was easier to wipe it off. And I also put down the plastic tarp that came with the whitewash kit. And I was glad since the brush sort of sprays it everywhere. Our fireplace hasn’t been used in years and it was the headboard for the bed in that room when we bought the house a year ago. This was the family room in the 70’s. No clue when that room was converted to the main suite. Basically I’m not sure when it was cleaned last but it didn’t seem super dirty.Where you see how well this product works is right above the boarded up hearth. Again, I barely scrubbed and it was left on there for maybe 15 minutes.Based upon just that part, I’d say, it’s a quick and easy product to use with amazing results.

Difficult to Use, Not Really a Gel
I have a custom-made mantel that is neither stone nor brick, so I am not suggesting that the product can't work on those. However, good luck applying this "gel". The product is viscous. I shook the container for about 60 seconds until it looked homogenous. Since most mantels are parallel to the wall, you would want a gel to go on and stay to do its work. This product is way too liquid for that. First I tried with the included brush and succeeded only in making a mess. Then I tried with a scrub brush. It went on but quickly slid off. I tried leaving it on for five minutes and then rinsing with hot water, but it did not clean the mantel.

Non toxic and a great brick cleaner
Pleased with product. I used an electric brush to help clean with this product. Removed paint and soot. No smell and non toxic. Would recommend! See before and after pic attached.

Works really well
There was so much black soot on my fireplace stone over the opening, I didn't think anything would take it off with out a huge mess, but this stuff did.I used the little brush that was provided with itthe material, followed directions and wow, does my stone look like it did long ago.Great stuff
