Takes the pressure off my wrists and shoulders
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I am 71 years old and pushups are my primary upper body exercise. I have had extensive shoulder surgery and also some arthritis in my thumbs. I tried the perfect pushup device, but those did not work for me. Pushups from the floor were starting to cause pain in my shoulders and wrists. Out of a little desperation, I decided to purchase these and see if they would help. They are very simple but solidly constructed. For me, the wrist discomfort is gone, and my shoulder has no pain when I use these. They may not work for everybody, but they were a great find for me. If you experience wrist strain with hands flat on the floor and don't want to do knuckle push-ups, give these a try. Pretty inexpensive as well.

so I know I got a better ab work out than I am used to
I just got these and used them for the first time yesterday. I work out regularly, and my ab workout consisted mostly of planks, since crunches can neglect necessary back muscles and planks work them. While I don't have an ultra-defined six-pack, my abs are not strangers to being worked out. I used these rollers on my knees in a girly-pushup position, rolling out in front of me as far as I could go and then rolling back. Three sets of ten, and I was burnt toast. Today, my abs are noticeably sore, so I know I got a better ab work out than I am used to! What's nice is that these also require strength in your ENTIRE core, including the important muscles in your back that will keep you from having back pain and trouble later in life. Crunches ignore those muscles, but these rollers don't.I also tried a couple of butterfly pushups, and those seem intense! I haven't done a full routine with them, just a couple to get an idea of how they work and feel, but I can see those taking my chest day to a new level. One possible drawback to these rollers (that could be a benefit for some) is that they also work your arms and shoulders while working your abs. I usually do abs on chest day and shoulder day, but trying to use these effectively after having blasted my arms to pudding is probably going to prove impossible. I might need to move abs to legs day and back day so I can use the wheels with fresh arms. They seem sturdy (I weigh 180) and the wheels moved just fine on my carpeting. The handles are the same crappy foam rubber that every handle everywhere uses, and that stuff pills up and rubs off after a year or so, less if you use the handles vigorously, which you should be doing with these. So, the handles will be the first part of these to fail, but it shouldn't be any trouble to re-coat them with something more durable. The other drawback to these is that there were no instructions of any kind with them. You will have to look on the internet or make up exercises on your own, if you are creative and knowledgeable enough to do that without causing yourself injury. For the price of these, there should have been an instruction booklet with a few exercises outlined, especially since a basic ab wheel runs around ten bucks. These are much better than an ab wheel, however, and I recommend them as long as you will have the motivation to learn how to use them.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST - JUST BUY THESE
I love ab rollers, I use them all the time. The reason I say these are the best and to buy these, is not because I work for the company. I don't. This is an honest review. It is because there are other brands where both wheels are locked onto the same central axle. Thus, each wheel, on each roller, does not spin independently. Some time back, I wanted this brand, but they were out of stock. So I bought another brand. They were alright, but the wheels did not turn independently. With the Ultimate Body Press ab rollers, each wheel turns on its own. This gives way more flexibility and subtle movements for a powerful work out. You can very precisely 'steer' each arm into the width you want. I cannot put it into words well, but when you experience the difference between this brand with independent wheels and another brand with both wheels on the same axle, you will know exactly what I am trying to explain here.

Added Stability Helps In Doing More Push Ups
I wasn’t initially impressed with these Ultimate Body Press push up blocks because as one who used standard push up bars for years, I thought they felt awkward at first, but after working out with them a few times, I’ve grown to enjoy them — these are plastic, but high quality, solid, built to last, and totally stable on the hardwood floors I use them on, thanks to the grippy surfaces that are underneath the blocks, unlike my standard push up bars, which slid all over the place and distracted me from my workout. I feel that the padded finger ledges aren’t really necessary; I just extend my fingers down along the sides of the blocks because that’s what feels natural to me, but pushing through the flat surfaces on top feels much better on the palms of my hands than the narrow tubes found on millions of other push up gadgets, and I feel my weight is more evenly distributed using this product. An added bonus is that I don’t have to worry about whether the blocks are going to tip over and falling flat on my face because the wide bases provide better stability, thus I am able to really focus and bang out more push ups. If you dig doing wide grip push ups, and don’t want to worry about falling on your face, these are a great choice. The only things that stop me from giving these UBP push up blocks a perfect score is that I wish they were a little higher, say 5 inches. My standard push up bars are over 5 inches, so these are a tad low for my taste, and the finger ledges are a non-factor for me. Also, when I bought these, the price was $30, and then they reduced the price by half, to $15 a week later to my chagrin, but overall, a pretty good set of workout equipment.

Great abs work, but use it only if you are advanced or have already a decent core's strenght.
This is by far; the most challenging abs roller device, which is great to improve core strength and stability. If you are unexperienced using ab rollers: this would not be the best one to start with; since it is pretty challenging and can increase risk of injury in the lumbar area if not used properly. If you already possess a good core strength; you should get it to go a step further to learn new skills, like the dragon flag (advanced calisthenics)
