TAKE THE TIP OFF
WIsh it had a little tag that told you to remove the tip. I tried using it and I couldn’t get it in the ground. Amazon asked me to write a review and in the picture accompanying the request I thought I saw it had no tip and I went a-ha and read a review that said to take the tip off. Also fyi it has a CA prop cancer warning tag.

Very strong and well-made spiral anchors. Not just for dogs!
We already have a larger and extreme spiral anchor for our dog while we are camping in RV parks with our dog. What we needed was additional spiral anchors to be used to secure our motorhome awning from damage in high winds while we camp. These Camco 12" Anchors are perfect for that use. Strong and unmoving, they are able to hold our expensive awning in position without being blown hard and damaged by wind. Especially important here in Oklahoma where the wind can kick up in a hurry!Easy to use and screw into the ground, they are unmoveable unless unscrewed! Great product and superb value at the price offered on Amazon. FIVE STARS and an honest and VERY hearty recommendation for whatever your intended use is!*If you found my review helpful to you, please let Amazon know by clicking the "HELPFUL" button below!

HAM radio, used as guy wires
I’m a general class HAM radio operator, and I wanted to make a temporary/mobile 20’ mast for my antenna using PVC and guy wires for their light weight and portability. I looked around for good mobile reusable and easy anchors for guy wires and figured I would give these a shot. At such a cheap price it was unbeatable. These look questionable from the pictures, like maybe lightweight metal, a little on the thin side. But they most certainly are not! I was amazed by the heft when pulling them from the box, and they are extremely thick and durable. I bench press 300, and had trouble making these flex. These are rock solid, thick, durable anchor points. Very solidly made. They get my “rugged” seal of approval!Nice score! I had ordered 3 for one VHF mast as a test. Now I’m ordering 6 more ( to support 3 towers at 3 guys wires each) so I can also get a 40m dipole up!

Works great! Easy to install, and holds up well.
This spiral pet anchor has worked great for us so far! It goes into the ground really well. When you receive it, you need to take the rubber boot off of the bottom of the spiral - I think that some people forget to do that, which makes it much harder to put into the ground. When you take off the rubber boot, it reveals the metal pointy bottom-side of the spiral that helps it dig into the ground easily. My dog is only 15 pounds, so it's not very big. This works perfectly for us to have a run outside for him! Overall, it was a great purchase and I would definitely recommend it for a smaller dog. I'm not sure how well it would work for larger dogs that might be more powerful. I would recommend!

VERY strong and VERY easy to both install and remove
I have a Pet Champion 18 Inch Steel Metal Spiral Tie Out Stake in my yard (no fences) and I absolutly love it. But dure to its shape its not easy to take out and put into the ground. I got this one because I do a lot of camping and needed something that required no tools to install and was easy to remove but was still sturdy. My dog is only about 12 pounds but his strength when charging is not to be underestimated (took down my garden fence when I tethered him to one of the steel corner posts!) The was VERY easy to get into hard packed rooty forest ground with only my hands. it was just as easy to take out. it was solid and sturdy and gave no bending when my dog charged. this is an excellent tool for tying out your dog... I suspect this 12 inch size would easily hold for at least a 50 pound dog.

Longer length and thicker steel than most tie-downs
I'm using a couple of these tie-downs to anchor a backyard hammock on a metal stand. These are way heavier than another brand of tie down that I used in the past---the metal here is as thick as a pencil! It was fairly easy to screw this in the ground but I had to use a crowbar in the triangle section to get more leverage for the last few inches. Thunderstorm gusts can't flip my hammock any more, these things are solid as a rock.Odd note: the website photo makes these look silvery, but both of the anchors I got are a greenish-gold. They've been out in the weather and still look about the same as when they were new, so I think it's the color of the metal and not a coating.

Love it!
We took the dogs camping (15lb Terrier and 40lb Ridgeback mix). The Ridgeback is a big puller, but he couldn't break free. We put the stake in many different types of ground- sand, grass, dirt (soft and hard). It worked great on all. I could twist it in myself and I think most people over age 7 or 8 could do it. The claspe cord (that we bought separately from Dollar Tree) would not fit the main hook, but would fit the smaller section. When we need to move the stake, it took less than 30 seconds to unscrew and screw it back in. Great purchase!

Dog Anchor a la King
Well built but the lease handle can come off easily.

Amazing and a life saver in parks!
Amazing values! The steak didn’t have to be that sharp but I guess it makes it easier to screw into harder surfaces.

Great product for our pup
It's sturdy enough and easy to use. My pup is only 15lbs, not sure how it would fair for a larger dog
