More useful as wood conditioner
I bought it both for my several cast iron and carbon steel cooking vessels as well as seal and protect my wooden boards. They do a pretty ok job for iron. Best results I found can be had if one finishes the process in an oven and use very (very very) thin coats. However, I am not sure that the beeswax does much here; because once the oil is polymerized (I generally bake 45 mins at 250 celcius with oil; and use very very thin coats, and after that the seasoning it is solid as pure graphite). However for chopping board protection and conditioning, it is certainly superior to normal oils/ fats. I find that one coating lasts a much linger time; even with rinsing with warm water and (sometimes) a little dish soap after cooking sessions. All in all, considering one bar lasts a long time, no reason not to recommend. But you should not expect very different results for iron compared to oil/shortening (for those who don't have access to an oven, it may actually be different).

Messy, though looks effective
Messy after use for seasoning. The wax solidifies on whichever object it came in contact. Use it minimally, don't melt too much, else flakes will be created in the cleaning cloth and deposit on the skillet / grill pan.

Best seasoning for cast iron
I have about 10 cast iron cookware- pans, kadais and dosa tawas. This is the best conditioner I have used. Immediately after washing the vessel, heat it gently and swipe the Baliiva bar across the surface. Use a paper towel to soak the excess and let the vessel heat for about 5 more minutes. If the vessel looks dry and matte, wipe again with the paper towel used earlier. That takes care of the seasoning and I end up with shiny non- stick cast iron. I haven’t tried with oven conditioning, stove top works fabulously.

Get one!
I absolutely love using this it’s therapeutic as a final coat on my cast and steel pans but it smells faintly like cigars which is wierd but not offensive maybe it’s supposed to 🤷🏻♀️ never bought one before. It goes a long long way should last ages.
