Kingfisher OSPROMO 150L Storage Box, White/Grey, One Size

If used for the purpose that it was bought for, this storage box will be fine. The materials are light and the floor is thin but it certainly serves the purpose for storing boots and small garden items. It is also completely waterproof and was easy to assemble. However, if your children or large dog are going to clamber over it and play in it, I think there will be difficulties and it will probably break! It is excellent for the purpose I use the box for and should last indefinetely.

I was really pleasantly surprised when I opened up the packaging today to assemble this storage box. Nicely designed, good quality plastic, feels pretty solid, and easy to put together. I'm really impressed. The colours they've chosen work well and it blends into the garden nicely. We're using it for Amazon and general deliveries when we're not in; it's large enough for most parcel sizes and discreet enough on the property. Recommended.

I was surprised how easy this was to assemble - all the rivets fitted perfectly and pieces slotted together easily. It took me about 20 minutes because I have various disabilities and arthritic hands but I gave it 5 stars because it would take an able bodied person 5 minutes to assemble at the most. I would recommend putting the box in situ before filling as it is not designed to hold much weight. Also ensure it is on level ground when assembling and using box. I am not a big fan of plastic furniture such as plastic garden chairs etc but this actually looks fine (it is actually white) and the grey lid blends in with my flint walls. It was larger than I imagined so will be a worthwile storage space for my tubs of bird and hedgehog feed currently using up valuable kitchen floor space - although it won’t be rat proof in itself as rats and mice could with a bit of persistence chew through the hard plastic - however, placing a hard plastic tubs (of the type which they have chewed through in the past!) with lids inside this storage box will more than suffice proved it is monitored for rodent damage. I am looking forward to getting my kitchen floor space back!Edit - Reading some of the reviews I wanted to add that I have had no problems with this product, all the studs and holes matched up including the latch which is strong enough to hold the weight of a padlock (which I just use to weigh down the lid). There are small gaps in each corner of the base, however, it has been windy and raining hard for nearly two days and the box inside is still bone dry. (See image) The lid looks as if it may bow if any weight is put on it so I just stuck some fragile tape on it to stop delivery drivers leaving parcels on it! I can only assume those that have had assembly issues/missing holes may have just been unlucky with their particular item. However, a hot poker or hot knitting needle would be adequate to make any extra holes I would think.July 29 2021Adding photo of heavy rain - after torrential rain causing widespread flooding in my town, the inside of this box was still bone dry 🙂

Nice size but a little flimsy, takes 5 mins to put together. Not 100% weather proof but gets the job done, if using to store outdoor cushions, put them in a bin bag first. Overall, not bad for the price

Very cheap materials, care needed when putting together, easy but very delicate and risk of cracking. Mine actually came with a crack in a side panel but for the hassle of sending back and what I needed it for I decided not to return it. I’m using it to store dumbbells and exercise step, anything heavy touching the front panel will make plastic protrude. Would be great for garden cushions but can’t comment on waterproofing as I haven’t experienced any wet weather since it’s been up (edit.. I can confirm it is completely waterproof) Nice size and does look decent but up close you can see that you get what you pay for. All in all, for the price (£40) it’s ok, compact and nice way of tidying up empty corners in garden.

This box has been so helpful to store deliveries whilst out, easy to put together and waterproof. Been using it for nearly a year and no complaints

I received beige! When advised seller it was the wrong colour they advised ' it is within the white spectrum'!! and advised I would need to return at my own cost! Once I supplied photo evidence of other customer reviews showing a white box and mine was clearly beige they offered free return! The box itself looks OK and is easy to put together. It is very flimsy with a very thin plastic flooring. It definitely would not stand up to any heavy items or heavy use. Customer service terrible. I wouldn't recommend if needing a solid storage box.

Love these storage boxes, I bought two. Although they were in the garden for a short time I now use one for Wellingtons in my hall and one for bedding upstairs!! Look good, 2 minutes to put together and wipe clean. Ideal for children’s playrooms too and strong enough to sit on.
