The shifter fit easily on my 2003 sv650, replacing the old original. It has a metal bushing rather than the cheapy oem plastic. 4 stars because the silver finish looks like plumbing hardware and it still has play after tightening down the bolt. Although, it is still a much tighter fit than a worn oem one. The folding toe piece is a nice addition.Make sure you thread in the linkage rod the same amount on both sides.

This product had a feature that I didn't even know about. First of all I was just looking for a replacement. Because the one I was using with the black rubber cushion on it kept leaving marks on all my footwear. So I wanted one that wouldn't leave tremendous marks on my sneakers. And then after receiving it, I noticed that it was spring loaded and would fold up instead of breaking off like my old black cushion would of it the bike happened too fall. It even has a shorter peg which is quite comfortable on my instep as compared to my old one that rode halfway across the top of my foot. Besides that, it was an ease too install. Man... did I ever make the right choice when ordering this particular Gear Shifter for my custom 2001 Suzuki GSXR 750.
