ZERO interest---but see update!
My cat looked at me like I was crazy. Not one iota of interest. Kitty said, "what do you take me for, a dog?"I wouldn't bother.UPDATE: after reviewing I saw a that the company requests that one contact them if there are any issues or questions. I wrote about my experience and received a response almost immediately that I should try to hold the stick for the cat to chew on. I replied that I'd already done that and a whole lot more and both kitties remained absolutely indifferent and promptly got another response that my purchase would be refunded. So, when a product just doesn't work out, it's fantastic when the customer service is amazing, and it was!!!!

Not for every cat
Just like people, every cat has different tastes and interests. People give this product a one star rating when their cat doesn't show any interest. That's not fair to the product. I foster many cats and most love these sticks. They bat them around and some will chew on them. About 30% do not show any interest but then these cats also don't care for catnip. The cats who like these, have a great time batting these around and playing with them. Good exercise. This is my second order.

Seems to help clean his teeth!
I tied a long, but tough string from a hoodie shirt on the middle of the stick and run around dragging it as my fur baby chases, pounces and chews!Works like a charm and tying the string helps him get even more of a grip on it. It seems to help keep his teeth cleaner.Tips for cleaner cat teeth that I use:Catnip SticksI planted a pot of wheatgrass for him to chew on, which seems to help also.Braised organic chicken - mainly rawDust dried food with Foodgrade Diatomaceous EarthDust probiotic powder on foodOrganic eggshells boiled for 5 minutes, dried and ground to powder. Sprinkle on foodI feed my cat grain free dry and wet canned food but looking to add more raw organic meats with some bones

My kitten loves them!
My 5 month old kitten is not a big fan of catnip yet but went wild for these sticks. She got excited Wjen she smelled one that I had peeled some of the bark off from each end. I’ held the small stick because I felt it would be safer since the sticks are quite stiff. Today I’m letting her play with one of the larger ones supervised to see how she handles it. So far so good.I would prefer if the sticks were the size of the largest ones that are about the size of my pinky finger. The smallest ones are about half that size.

Inconsistent information on product origin
One of the reasons I chose these silvervine sticks over the others was because the seller said these were made in Ohio, US, in the customer questions & answers. But when I received the product, it says clearly that it's "MADE IN CHINA" on the label. Not sure whether the seller was being dishonest, or that the product origin had changed. The thickness was more even than I expected (I saw some previous reviews that showed various thickness and some looked very thin), and most of the sticks I received were of similar thickness and lengths. My cats didn't seem as excited about these sticks as the previous ones they had though. They would play with the sticks, but I didn't see them chewing on them much. I may return them.

Fun
These sticks are exactly what they are said to be and if you are curious about them I would recommend trying them! Don't trust the reviews they are ridiculous! My cats didn't really like them that much but I bought enough to share them with friends and family members that own cats and other cats do like them. It all depends on the cat whether they will like them or not! You won't know unless you try them if YOUR cat/s will like them!

Who can figure cats?
I have a cat rescue & liked the description of this product, especially the teeth-cleaning aspect. The package arrived quickly & as advertised. I distributed a number of the sticks to my cats. When I put catnip out, some cats go berserk rolling in it & some ignore it completely = same with these sticks. The ones who responded chewed on them or batted them around for a while and then moved on. This is a pretty inexpensive item, so you really don't have much to lose if your cat doesn't like them. You can donate them to a shelter & there are sure to be some cats who will thank you.

My cat had zero intrest in these, gave one a sniff and walked away
I've never seen these before and thought I'd get some for my Calico cat. I'm disappointed to say that she gave one a little sniff and gave me the 'look' that said 'what's this crap'? Turned her nose up and walked away. So I figured I'd give one a try and chewed on it a while and got nothing out of it. As in nothing, no real flavor of anything other than a dry stick. So, I guess these are a bust and a waste of money. I'm disappointed to say that I can not recommend these for anything. I might be able to make a cat toy out of one. But it would be something that I could make out of any old dead stick.
