I got this shampoo for my 10 year old daughter and it works really well for her hair. The scent is light and clean, not too strong or artificial, which I actually like for kids products. It lathers nicely, washes out easily and doesn’t leave any residue. After rinsing, her hair feels soft and fresh, not dry or tangled. We’ve used it several times already and she has had zero irritation on her scalp (which sometimes happens with other brands). The pump bottle is also convenient in the shower. Not the cheapest option, but the quality matches the price. I’m happy with it and will probably repurchase.

Very good option for a teen boy with curly hair, nice smell, good texture, no skin irritation. It helps with oily hair, they stay clean longer. My boy likes it. I read through the contents and seems like this product doesn’t have any sulfates or parabens.

Having a shampoo available that is thoughtfully made, by a mom, for teenage-specific needs is fantastic. It is friendly to our many allergies and does a great job breaking down grease and buildup. Without the copious lather we are often used to, it can feel a little gritty or dry, like having really hard water, while you're applying it, but it adds just a tiny bit of shine and makes hair feel healthy and clean. It tends to make hair tangle-y, even when paired with the conditioner. The pump is not a great delivery system. You need a lot of pumps, especially for longer or thicker hair. Scent is not something super pleasing--it's a little unusual--but it smells sort of natural and herbal. Overall, it is a good option but not our favorite.

Admittedly, I am pretty inconsistent about leaving reviews. This time, I am taking the time to write this. I take care of my two grandsons. Take them to school, pick them up, and so as to help my daughter, I bathe them. The boys are 8 and 11 1/2. For the past few months, the 11 1/2 year old boy has had a stinky scalp. Obviously, he is starting to go through puberty. Baby shampoo didn’t work, adult shampoo didn’t work, even after two and three scrubbing’s. The only thing that was working well was clarifying shampoo. However , this is too hard on the hair. I took a chance and bought this and to my surprise, it works wonderfully! It is not harsh to the hair, smells nice, not too feminine or flowery. It has more of a woodsy, pleasant fragrance to it. Now, depending on how sweaty he has gotten during the day, I may only have to scrub his scalp one time. This stuff is amazing. I truly didn’t expect it to work well but I took a chance, and I am so glad that I did. I highly recommend this for preteens or teens that have stinky scalp. You know these hormones are going crazy and we don’t want anybody, especially other kids, telling our kids that they stink. Give it a try, you’ll be happy.

I tried different shampoos for my sons oily hair but none of them were up for the job. I used mustela 2in1 cleanser from the time he was born but When he turned 11 he needed something stronger for his hair. He still uses mustela for body wash but for his hair he now uses TBH. It works great and also it’s not that bad if it gets in his eyes . Not as mild as mustela of course but it doesn’t feel like it’s burning holes through your eyes, so I’ve been told from my son. The smell is ok, the mustela smells better of course but TBH shampoo smells better once the hair is dry. Good shampoo for oily hair.

I was really hoping this would work for me. I have long, fine hair that gets super greasy within 24 hours of washing it. My hair has always been this way. Everyone's scalp has a ton of oil glands, but some people are just genetically prone to producing more oil than others. Additionally, people with fine hair tend to get greasy hair more quickly since their strands aren't very thick. I was hoping this would allow me to be able to wash my hair every other day instead of every day, but it doesn't. This didn't work any better than a clarifying shampoo would. It's not a bad product by any means, but if you buy this thinking it will make your hair less oily, you will be disappointed.

I've looked for a shampoo that our family can use on teen special needs boys, as they growing, their hair retains alot of oul which make their hair look dirty. This shampoo is wonderful! The shampoo suds, cleans, rinses very well & it does not burn their eyes! Their hair is so nice and shiny and stays like that all day. This was my second purchase and will continue to order. Bottle is on the small side, but it smells AMAZING. Like a fresh cedar forest lightly sprinkled with amber. Honestly best smelling shampoo I've ever bought.
