SilenxEFX-12-15T Effizio 120x25mm <15dBA <74CFM Thermistor Computer Case Fan

After 3 unsuccessful attempts to find a quiet replacement for the noisy refrigerator fan in our camper, I ordered the SilenX Effizio Silent fan after reading the complimentary reviews and VIOLA…it works as stated! It is so quiet it cannot be heard at all from inside the camper,. For our purposes I had to cut off the plug and attach two of the three wires (the middle wire is positive) to the leads coming from the refrigerator. The mounting holes seem to be standard for 120mm fans.

Fans work great and are extremely quiet. I haven't used the thermistor really, do most fan control through bios. One really odd thing is that sometimes when I turn my computer on, the fan tries to start spinning but doesn't. I have to hit my case lightly to get it to start up, or if I put it to sleep and wake up the PC again, it will start spinning the second time.

Great fans, used to replace the factory 12v fans at the back of the fridges in my motorhome. Came well-packed and on time. The thermistor has a lower temperature trigger point than the original, but that is actually better as it circulates the air as soon as the weather gets hot. My fridges are now keeping the right temperature again, hooray!

The fan would not always come on and I would have to spin the fan for it to start working in my computer.

Does just what I purchased it to do: cool a bay in my furniture where the computer lives. It's exceptionally quiet and does a great job.

its very quiet, even at full speed. Im not gunna lie and say its silent, its just very quiet.

I use these fans in the fridge baffle on my RV. They are very silent and have been working well.
