One of Batman's First Villains
Hugo Strange, the first batman villain to deduce Batman’s identity, and I believe one his very first villains, even before the Joker. I love SDCC figures, probably my favorite was the Swamp Thing. You always seem to get a little something more, even if it is just detailing, and this figure is no exception. There are only two Hugo Strange figures available, the other showing him wearing Batman’s uniform, which in the comics, he loves to do. This figure though is my favorite. Shown in a highly-detailed lab coat with his name tag. The coat is even washed in a light gray to give it a sinister, dirty feel (see what I mean about SDCC details.) Articulation is limited, hindered by the lab coat, but it offers up enough to get him into some good poses. He comes with two accessories, the injection needle and scalpel, both in hand, brings your trust level down and the villain meter at red alert. The face sculpt is also very detailed and stands out. I highly recommend getting him. If you are a huge Batman or rogue’s gallery fan, a must have to complete your collection.

Great, but only for an appropriate price.
Hugo here is pretty good and I'm glad that DC Collectibles released one, but I'm disappointed that it was a con-exclusive so obviously he's going to be a little pricey ordering off of amazon. However, he still is a great figure. The design is all great except for the face, it doesn't look as good as I've come to expect from DC Collectibles. Besides that though, there's really nothing wrong with the figure at all. He stands well and he has the appropriate amount of posing options. Hugo, at least in the Arkham games, isn't exactly a flexible ninja so he doesn't require a large amount of posing. He comes with two smell accessories that fit well enough into his hands and do add a layer of customization that more or less makes up for the lack of articulation. So about the price... I'd say only get this if you're bent on getting all of Batman's rogues in the Arkham Games and even then wait for it to be around forty bucks. This being con-exclusive really makes it hard to find so it depends on how much you want something like this. I'm someone who needs all the main Batman characters on my shelf and Hugo is one of them, so I bought him when the price was $49.95.Not regarding to price, the figure is great except for the head. So don't worry about the quality of the figure!

A Casual Collector's Opinion
Batman: Arkham City - 2013 SDCC Exclusive: Hugo StrangeDesign - A good representation of the character as seen in the Arkham City video game. The sculpt is good with attention to details such as buttons, creases in the coat and pants, etc. However, the figure does not come with a peg-hole for a stand.Paint Job - Pretty good. Areas of the white lab coat look a little thin but overall the paint-job on the figure is well done and lacking any major mistakes.Articulation - Limited. The figure's range of movement is mostly found in his arms and legs. You won't be able to pose him in many different ways other than standing.Accessories - Comes with two: a syringe and a scalpel. These accessories are very small so be careful when removing them from the packaging as you may lose them. Also keep in mind that both fit rather loosely in his hands.Overall - Considering this is a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive figure from 2013, Hugo Strange is a rather good deal compared with other such "exclusive" items. Granted, this may be because he's a rather unexciting figure and character but for any collector or fan of the game series you can't go wrong with one of the main antagonists of Arkham City on your shelf.

I got him while he was cheap and you should too.
I got him while he was cheap and you should too. It was nice to finally add the face of arkham city to my little collection. He comes with a scalpel and a syringe that fit in his hands nice and snug. He has good arm movement but the legs are hindered by his coat. He is an exclusive for some odd reason so thats is where he original price of about $60 factored in. I grabbed him for $30 on here.
