LOVE IT! Way better than Amazon recommended SaiYin brand.
I recently bought the SaiYin 17" soundbar with subwoofer because it was Amazon Recommended, but the tonality was SO BAD I knew in 10 minutes I wouldn't be able to tolerate listening to it long term. I returned it and gave it a one star review, and purchased this BESTISAN instead. I already own a 3-year-old BESTISAN soundbar with subwoofer that's hooked up to my TV that I use daily, so I know what to expect from them in terms of tonality and sound quality. And this new one I just bought did not disappoint. Straight out of the box before making any adjustments the sound was balanced and clear. Then I hooked up my own 8" powered subwoofer to the bar's sub out port, and that was the icing on the cake! Made it 5x better. Momentarily turned it to max volume to experience what that was like, louder than you'd ever need it to be, and NO distortion whatsoever! Even the appearance of it is more attractive than all other soundbars I've owned. I have some advice for buying soundbars. This model has bass and treble adjustments on the remote, which is a VERY valuable feature that you should look for. Whether the "flat" sound is balanced like this one was, or way off, you're going to want to tweak it to get it perfect. Most bars don't have that. Second, this model has a sub out port instead of being supplied with a sub. In my experience, the subs that come packaged with soundbars aren't very good at all. If it's shaped like a narrow suitcase, trust me, it's going to be underwhelming. It's better to use a powered 8" minimum or 10" sub from a true audio system, with crossover and volume adjustments on the back. I was trying to decide whether to buy this 28" BESTISAN or the next step up, the 40", and I think I made the right decision. Based on my previous experience with this brand, I figured the high end would sound good on either one, but the low end would differ. Since I already had a powered subwoofer on hand that wasn't being used, I figured that would give me stronger bass than the 40" that has no provision for a sub. HOWEVER, if you don't have a sub and don't want to be bothered with that, the 40" is constructed with 2 tweeters and 4 full range drivers, which because of the crossover stopping the highs from reaching the 4, allows them to play the lower frequencies more strongly than my 28" which only has 3 full range drivers with no crossover. Although I haven't actually heard the 40", based on its superior speaker design I honestly think it's bass ability would satisfy 95% of people.

Big sound for the price
We were pleasantly pleased with the sound quality and volume, especially for the price of this soundbar. Since HDMI ARC is supposed to be the best connection that's what we did but it took a little work to find all the TV settings to make the soundbar turn on and off correctly. That was a fault of our TV and not this soundbar. If it were to do over, I'd just use the AUX or Bluetooth for a much faster setup. Our Firestick defaulted to 5 increments on the volume and we needed to change that to 2 in order to more finely tune how loud it was.

Pleased with quality for price and ease of installation.
Easy to mount but took me a minute yo figure out you have to put the right end of the bar in the wall mount then the left goes in easily. Not hard to set up. Bass sounds tight, no vibration. Treble clear. I hear sounds i never heard from my tv speakers. Very low latency. Easy pairing. Paired with a 1Mii Bluetooth transmitter. Only gripe was there was a flat head, Philips, mount screw missing but found one at the hardware store. I mounted the bar on the wall above the tv 64" from the floor. Power cord was just long enough since the outlet was directly below the bar. Best to mount it lower if your situation allows. All said, I am pleased!

Good enough
Nice low profile, works well below the 43" TV that I have on a stand. Sound quality is commensurate with the relatively low price - not super powerful and some loss in quality at full volume but good enough for a small-ish living room and casual listening. Over 5 years use I've had to disconnect twice for a reset. Still going strong, though.

Standing the test of time!
Looking back I just realized that this sound bar is now a little over six years old and still going strong. I’m surprised because so much of what I buy lately seems to be junk and doesn’t last - I’m on my 2nd TV since this purchase in 2019. The remote has three settings, one for movies, music, and dialogue which comes in handy for either of those depending on what I’m listening to. It’s has plenty of use and I’ve cranked it up loud with music so many times yet the sound on this is still excellent and I have never had one problem with it. Either I got very lucky or this is made very well! Highly recommend.

Good sound--for a year and a half
UPDATE 8-25-2025: Worked great (kind of) until it didn't. Occasionally, upon turning on the surge protector all my devices are plugged into, the speaker would screech once or twice. After that, it worked okay. About a month ago, sound would become muddy during a show, so I would get out of it, rewind and try again. Worked fine. Them two days ago the sound started cutting in and out, and then the bar made a loud, prolonged 'groaning' sound. Kind of electronic, kind of explosive. The light on the front will not turn green, and my LG tv says no sound device is connected. Whether it's the ARC cable or the speaker itself, I'm not sure, but looking for a new sound bar. And it won't be Bestisan. I bought this to replace an old Polk Audio (2011, 40W) soundbar since it started to come on at FULL BLAST, and the connection was limited to optical input. Once I cut the cord for Roku, the bar would not work for other devices, forcing me to use my LG OLED internal speakers to play dvds. Never did figure out why that was the case, but happy to have upgraded the system. The 12 year bar will be fine for the original LG tv it was purchased for in my bedroom. Or not. Having purchased Bestisan stereo speakers earlier this year, I felt confident with the brand, and thus far, no disappointments. Set up was not quite as intuitive as hoped, but this was due I am sure to old settings to accomodate the old bar. I love figuring out this stuff though, so the "fun" lasted a little longer!! :-) After some trial and error, I was able to get my LG remote to control sound, and then, got my Roku remote to talk to the bar. The fewer the remotes, the better. I will forfeit the music/movie/dialogue options, but of little use to me anyway. I can't say that serious audiophiles will be impressed, but at $85 and 30% off coupon, I would recommend this for those needing a good soundbar, particularly since it offers a wide variety of connection options--not all bars do. Note that you will need to buy your own HDMI cable, otherwise, the box comes with everything you'll need including batteries for the remote to get up and hearing.

Pretty good sound but misleading advertising
I won't be too much of a Scrounge. The speakers sound pretty decent. I had no noticable delay using Bluetooth to connect to my TV. Pairing was pretty straight forward to be honest. Audio volume and quality is noticably better than the built in speakers in the TV. I just maxed out the volume on the speaker itself and use the TV to control the overall volume otherwise. Also the bar is pretty damn big. In the picture, that's a 65 inch Samsung behind it. I wouldn't recommend this 40inch model for any TVs under 65inches. The design is also very practical and I think the females will approve of it more than other models that are a bit more on the boxier side. This unit is slightly more rounded and curvy. Also the 3 audio modes are actually well tunes for their intended purpose but I find the MOVIE mode just sounds the best overall. And there's no noticable audio distortion even a Mac volume which is well appreciated. I'd rather have a low beautiful sound than a loud obnoxious mess. Good decision guys. Now for my cons. I wasn't able to get the optical input working because the TV won't detect it. My TV doesn't have RCA/composite audio out so I couldn't try that either. But my biggest grip against this sound bar is the VERY misleading advertising of "100 watts". First of all this is in no way 100 watts, it's not even 40 watts. The power supply is a 19V adaptor with 1.83amps. Now the way you calculate wattage is to multiply voltage times amperage. So 19 x 1.83 = 34.77 watts. Maybe if I find a 19V power supply with 5.26amps then I could test if it's actually capable of the 100watts claim. Also for the sheer size of this sound bar, I think it should be alot louder and fuller sounding. I think I'm gonna try a few other sound bars and see if I can be satisfied within this price bracket.

Perfect for my needs
Update: I had to purchase a new one, the old one starting crackling and popping. Sort of surprised because I just watch simple television at low volumes. Not very impressed with the longevity. The new one has been redesigned apparently and there is an obnoxious bright white light on the right end. I presume it's a power indicator. It's a black sound bar, and television is often watched in a dim or dark room. Now you have this glaring thing looming just under the television. It might as well be the sun lurking. Stupid design. The old one is prematurely dead and the new one is going back. A far star rating decreased to one star. I would not recommend this product. I was looking for a sound bar to add volume to the lousy speaker on my tv, I was not setting up a home movie theater or using this for any high quality sound needs. I am also not at all tech savvy or an audiophile type person, I hate setting up equipment with cords and I know little about sound except I like it or I don't. So, here are my thoughts on this product. The volume is great, the speaker on my tv is in the back so it points at the wall and is often ridiculously quiet, this adds far more volume than I needed, I currently live in an apartment and I have not been able to turn it up even close to it's potential. Sound quality from my perspective is perfect for my needs, just watching tv or movies. It's not a surround sound system so don't expect that out of it. And it's pretty low priced on the sound bar spectrum so keep that in mind as well. But, for the money I'm quite happy with the sound. It was incredibly easy to set up. I had it in the box, hadn't had time to get it out yet, when I turned on the tv to a program that was just annoyingly quiet, one of those that's the very reason I bought this product. I grabbed the box and literally in about 5 minutes had this thing set up. The only issue I have to work through is if I have it in front of the tv I can't use the tv remote, it blocks the signal. If I put it behind the tv, which works fine as far as sound, the signal gets blocked for this remote. At this point the solution has been to place this off center from the tv so the base of the tv is not blocking the signal. I'm planning to rearrange my tv stand as there is an appropriate place for it I just have other things there at the moment. Another option would be to raise the tv a couple inches, a nicely finished piece of wood would do the trick easily. Overall, this has done exactly what I needed and for the price I'm very happy. And, customer service emailed me a few days after I received it to see if I had any questions so for those who have questions about set up, it looks to me like they are quite willing to help.
