Each GN 1/2 container has a depth of 100 mm and holds up to 6 litres, thus allowing you to symultaneously heat and keep warm a total of 30 litres of food. Additionally, other GN container combinations can also be inserted into the Bain Marie with a maximum container depth of 100 mm, such as two GN 1/1 with one GN 1/2 container or six GN 1/3 containers combined with one GN 1/2 container. As a result, you can save a lot of time, which is particularly advantageous when preparing food for large events or for numerous clients in restaurants, canteens, hotels etc.The five removable GN 1/2 containers, all 100 mm deep, as well as their respective lids are included in the delivery. Thanks to the entirely removable containers, filling them is much easier: You can simply fill each container directly at the cooking place and then return them to the bain marie. The food is heated by convection, i. e. the heating element heats the water between the bain marie and GN containers and transfers the heat to the GN container.
