Width wide enough to cover uneven ground
I couldn't find a garage door seal wide enough to cover the dip on my concrete skirt. For some reason, both big box stores only had 2 3/4" width and I needed a larger width. Found 3 3/4" through Amazon w/ a 1/4" T and it seals the bottom of my garage door perfectly.

Don't wait like I did
Buy this gasket. I kept putting it off until I got tired of looking at my dilapidated torn gasket. Now that the Summer heat is upon us, I keep the garage door open a crack. That tired, torn, gasket looked awful just hanging there for all to see. Without breaking the bank, I was able to renew my pride of ownership! As the other reviews have said, install was a snap. I tore out the old seal and started feeding one end of the new gasket into both T channels. As I got about 6 feet into it, I could see this better as a 2-person job. One person has to hold the feeding end to maintain alignment of the T-channel "bead", and the other person works down the length of the door, pulling the gasket towards the other end. By myself, as I was pulling, the "bead" would pop out and I would have to pull the "feed" end back out until it was back in the channel. Alignment is key. With two people it took 5 minutes. I turned it into a dad/son bonding activity - ah....the joy of making memories. Well, I probably got more out of it than he did. Keep feeding until you have a few inches of excess material and trim. Fold the ends back in and tuck them inside the channel. You can do this.

Just like the one I replaced.
I replaced my old seal ( 15+ years old ) with this one. Originally I purchased one of the heavier-duty ones but had many issues. The heavier-duty one was problematic during the installation on a 16ft door as it was bulkier and I had limited space to work with. Another issue was that the heavier product tore rather easily making it come off the track during the installation. After reading many reviews I settled on this one. I was able to install it myself in about 20 minutes.

Goodbye mice and other stuff sneaking into my garage that doesn't belong.
I needed a larger seal because the one I bought at Home DepLowes was too small. I tried to buy the largest seal they had, but there were far too many openings between my door and the floor once installed and cut to size (grumble). I had a small family of mice getting into my hound dog's food - she didn't like that. The missus didn't like the mouse turds all over the garage, and I hated having to dispose of all the dead mice bodies that kept collecting on the mice traps. This garage door seal takes care of all of that. The mice haven't chewed through this one yet so I cannot yet speak to the durability, but we'll see if that stays the case once the winter settles in. The price was equivalent to what I paid at the big box store, so value is probably better, even though its all likely made in a large country in Asia.I'm not sure what the USB thing is, but I read once where someone can steal your computer datas from a USB key so I'm giving the blue thing to my mother-in-law for Christmas, she likes stuff like that.

Did you order a 20ft length like me?
Beware! If you order this 20ft. $35 item as I did several days ago you may get three smaller lengths totaling almost 20ft. but not a continuous length of 20ft. I have requested that the company explain why they decided to send me 3 lengths of leftover product and there has been no reply. I think I'm due a refund or a 20ft length of product and you can keep your silly fan!

a bit short
I have 10 foot wide doors, so one roll should have been enough for two doors, came up about two feet short on the second door.
