After a frustrating experience doing a detail job on my car in my under-lit garage I went on the search for some replacement LED fixtures when I came across these super high output LED lights that go into a regular medium light bulb base.Installing them couldn't be easier since you just screw them in.They throw an insane amount of light that is comparable to the light output you get from very high powered halogen panels. Your typical ceiling mounted halogen or LED panel fixture might put out about 3000-4000 lumens depending on size. High end drop in panels run about $100 a pop.These things put out a crazy amount of light. So much so, that I immediately saw some scratches in the clearcoat of my car that I had missed when I was polishing it. Bittersweet indeed.If there is a downside to these things it is that they only have a rated lifespan of 5,000 or so hours. That's really not that great if you would have them on in an application where they were on 10 hours a day.... but they do have a two year replacement warranty, assuming you can get it honored.Since I only typically have the lights on in my garage for 30 minutes at a time, or a few hours on the weekend, I expect to get many years out of these and by the time they eventually fail I suspect a superior version will be available.

I had a set of 8 40w T8 florescent bulbs in my old garage, but my new one only had one dinky CFL. I like garage projects, for which adequate lighting is essential, so I was planning to hard wire a full set into the new garage (at a minimum 2-3x cost) until I found this while searching for LEDs for my home interior bulbs. I'm glad I found this.This LED set was as easy as screwing in a light bulb. Literally. You screw it in, turn it on, then scream in agony because you didn't think the LEDs would be so bright so you were staring straight at the them. You then adjust the leafs to aim the light where you need it and Bob is your uncle. Sometimes, the easiest solution is the best, even when you're a dad who loves to make every project more convoluted than it needs to be.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased one for my 3 car garage which was always very dark with the 3 bulbs it came with (one over every car. ) I installed it over the middle car space and was amazed by how bright it was!I had to buy 2 more for the other 2 spots. I just installed them in 2 minutes. My garage is like daylight and my cars shine with bright colors! lolI'll upload the video i took after the first one for comparitive purposes. I got this light from amazon and I was very skeptical about this light about brightness and other things.It comes in a nice package and clear instruction guide. It exceeded my expectation as its super bright - I put it in my garage and it seems like I am in bright sunlight.Pros:Really bright no need for any additional light for big spaceAngular design where you can adjust the light is big advantage of this light.Super bright with day light color so you won't feel you are in electric light.Total LED so very less power consumption.Not at all priceyCons:Bit heavy but its fine for the priceOverall I say its must if you spend lot of time or work in your garage or big space.

Before putting this in my garage (a real chore due to the 11 foot ceiling!), I decided to put one of these in my basement fixture where I had two 100 watt-equivalent CFL's in a split-socket configuration. I turned it on, and instantly brought down the second one I purchased and replaced another of my CFL sets in another part of my basement - the difference was startling, and the ability to angle the panels made a huge difference in how well-lit the areas were!Now I need to re-order more... one more for the basement, and two for the garage. :)Very nice product!

This light works great

I bought one of these bulbs for my unheated work shop. I have a few other LED bulbs of various styles installed outside/in cold conditions and when it gets down to around -30' they don't work very realiably. -40' and most don't turn on at all. This one seems to stop working around -15'. If you plan on using it outside and live farther north, consider another brand. It's pretty bright though and with the coupon the price was decent.

Light worked great for 6 months now 1 of the 3 panels has stopped working. Ad states 5 year life span not 11 months... amazon shows that warranty and exchange period has already ended. A little disappointed

It does what it said it would. Very bright, directional lights. No flickering or noise. Too early to comment on longevity. I bought two then two more as the product exceeded my expectations. I have four in our triple garage and every square foot is well lit. Good value.

This is the second light I purchase and Have never had an issue with it. Takes 10 seconds to install. My first one is going on 3 years now and at times will stay on 24hrs a day. I would definitely buy another.

Easy to install. Wanted to upgrade my lighting in my 24 x 24 house garage that has 12 ft ceilings to restore a Classic Car. When i built the house and garage originally all i had in the ceiling was 4 light sockets that i had 150 watt incandescent bulbs which weren't real great. I looked at having a electrician install led strip lighting or something similar until i discovered these on a YouTube video . These work great and i had them installed in no time at all. I originally bought 2 then i liked them so much my wife bought me 2 more. I joke that it's so bright now i could perform surgery out there.
