Great option when replacing RS-2SG filter.Exact dimensions and replacing is easy.Good taste from water after filtration.

I am very sensitive to water quality. I can just by tasting the water and identify the mineral water and raw water. The water after this filter I can not identify any dis-comfortable material from it. Price not cheap, but last very long and easy to replace the old filter. I have been using this model of filter for more than 20 years now.

I can not recommend that filter.They state that it is a replacement for the GE RS-2SG Filter but that's not true. As the label states it is only for filtering city water that is microbiological safe even BEFORE the filter whereas the GE Filter is clearly meant for contaminated water to make it safe to drink. I'm returning it for this reason. The description should have told me this before so I wouldn't have ordered it at all.

High quality filter, but I like the taste of the water from the original General Ecology brand filter better

Seems to work fine as an exact replacement for the factory original in my General Ecology Seagull IV water filter. And it's half the price of that one, too! I've been happy enough with it to order two more for future summers on my boat.
