the Hawk 250 Enduro is great,
there are a few things you MUST do first on this bike before trying to start it or drive it, you should buy the 130 link chain heavy duty, people say it fails rather fast, 18 dollars, and you must buy the Mikuni Honda 30mm carburetor, 30 dollars, the one that comes on the bike runs crazy lean and drastically over heats the motor, with the replacement carb it runs much better, more power and stops the over hearting, and you MUST adjust the chain if you do not at least replace it, as it comes original the chain it put on crazy tight and people report that it bents the swing arm and can ruin the motor at the front sprocket. i am 6'2'' 230 pounds, i have no problem with the front fork sagging on mine, its very high, almost to high, i use my toes to touch the ground while sitting on it, and when you remove the bike from the metal shipping you can lift up the rear of the bike and way up under you will see the shock is NOT bolted at the bottom, this is done to make the bike smaller for shipping, do not pull it the bike out of the metal shipping box until you first bolt that shock or you risk pulling out all the wires with the tires knobs, and when you put on the front tire, find the big fat silver metal spacer, it goes inside the front wheel on the left if your sitting on the bike, the front axle bolt, pay attention, it goes nut. fork, spacer, wheel, speedometer, fork, long bolt, in that order, that fat spacer will go half way into the wheel. if you put the front wheel on without it, you WILL mess up the front brake rotor and brake caliper right away, and do not get in a hurry to put it together, you MUST go over all the nuts and bolts to make sure its all tight and on properly, and here in illinois it arrived very early by 3 days, its 310 pounds on the wooden crate, it was kind of hard to scoot off the street where it gets unloaded at off the truck. and DO NOT use the cheap gas in it, use the 90 octane. it says right in the little useless book, and you MUST use 1.6 quarts of 15W40 oil, it comes with almost no oil in the motor, if you go to drain out the factory oil there is a big drain plug on the left with a spring inside and on the end of that spring will be a little oil screen filter that likes to fall out now that you removed the plug that was pushing on the spring to seat the oil screen into the motor, and fully charge the battery after filling it with acid, thats NOT water in the white thing, charge up the batter on low 2 amp for 6 hours, do not rush things while putting it all together, if you are in a race to see how fast you can slap it together you will be taking things apart later to correct issues and mistakes, if you cheap out and do not buy the better carburetor the exhaust pipe will hit 600 degrees and your cooking the piston and rings. and it will not idle with factory carb.

Less than 3 hrs from crate to running
The media could not be loaded. I am very happy so farGot it together in 2.75 hrsNo instruction manual at allI also have 46 years of being around and owning various motorcyclesHad to adjust the idle a bit, I live at 6400 ft in elevationGot Premium gas for it and put in about 1.5 galAfter I figured out the starter will run either on or off with the on/off switch it fired right upSo I had not looked at the kill switch to see if it was on or offRealizing my error I flicked the switch to run and it fired right upI fit just fine at 6’4” on the bike feels a lot like my 2005 Wr450 at stand still.Have not had an opportunity to go outside my back yard yetWill update when I have some more seat timeSo far so goodUpdate 10/16/21 130 mi. but actual unknown see below, less than 200 for sure.Bike ran well at 8000' elevation not very powerful like the the 450 or even other 250sAfter all it is only a 220.The seat is a little short as well as the entire bike compared to a WRI bought this for my grandkids to rid when the are around and they have had a lot of fun on it.It seams dependable and runs well for what it is.Ideal fo someone who want to get into motorcycling cheaply and may not need tons of horsepower.Issues:The chain was super tight had to adjust it, I mean no slack what so ever. The front brake caliper came loose after 1 ride. The speedo cable came loose at the wheel and the cable fell out, need replacement internal cable, sheath is ok.Adjusted throttle cable to take mile of slack out.The hump in seat will need to get smoothed out so I can sit further back comfortably (6'4" tall) Shorter folks may be fine.Aside those minor issues I enjoy running to grocery store or grandkid baseball game.Never going to try the highway, 55 may be as fast as it will go.

Wonderful Little Moto !
I call her, "Stimulus Check". LOLI hope you buy one ! great bike !When you do, there are really great videos on You Tube.Everything from how to put it together after container unpack, to replacing the very lean carburetor. Do it soon, then put name brand 10W-40 in the engine.Buy the PZ30. $30. Perfect direct bolt on. The Nibbi needs adapters. No more over using the choke. I put the new one on, and the bike started right up ! WOW !

Great purchase, great bike.
So far 120 miles and 7 days straight of riding, it's hard to go easy on it to break it in when it is so much fun, ran it stock untill the 7th day I added a nibbi 30mm carb and it really wakes up the bike, only downsides as stock are the loose throttle, witch may be able to be fixed but if your like me and brand new to all this only way I fixed it is that new carburetor. Plastics are expensive to replace so watch what your doing. No instructions for this so make sure you or someone who will help you knows about motorcycles and dirtbikes, my father new enough to put it together, although it was still frustrating for him and myself. So far great purchase. My father, mother, and I are all really enjoying it.

Mixed feelings
Don't expect to get a color you want and it's been 2 months and I still haven't received any kind of title there are a few things you need to fix right out of the box the carb runs way too lean you got to order the mikuni carb on Amazon it's like 30$ and it will run like a dream also buy locktight for all the bolts while your putting it together or they will rattle off other than that it is worth it all day long
