Greatest abrasives you can find today I gather.This 80 grit works great for stripping paint or old layers of deck oil ,tho if you need to strip heavy coated wood better start with lower grits or go with Festool’s heavy duty Saphir abrasives and then gradually move up to 80 and so on.I just used this on a lightly painted fence which was covered with black fungii residue from a couple years of rain,working with an ETS EC 150/5 EQ and it did super quick work.It also leaves a pretty smooth finish for an 80 grit ,while still rapidly removing material.So...thanks again Festool!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿(Oh and when you open the new pack be sure to take a whiff...the scent is intoxicating😅😄🤣)

This festool sandpaper is as high a quality as the sander itself. I don’t really have anything to compare it to other than the festool Ruben line. I find the granat much longer lasting than the Ruben and overall much stronger and longer lasting than the mirka brand I used to use on my dewalt orbital sander.

Amazing quality and when combined with a rotex orbital sander it ensures a solid foundation for an excellent finish once you go through the grits.
