An Anthology of Intriguing Animals Hardcover – October 2, 2018

This was a gift for a 6 year old and she and her younger brother absolutely love this book. I cant wait to get them another one in the series. His birthday is right around the corner.

read this book every night with my 8 year old. I LOVE this series, but I loved space and ocean more. It may just be my preference, so I still have 5 stars. My son and I are going through every book in the series, and he (and I!) love it. I got National Geographic too, and that didn’t stand a chance against this series. Great photos, easy to read and understand. Chef’s kiss.(I am duplicating my review across multiple books in the series. Not because I am a bot, but because they all really have the same review)

My granddaughter is 9 and she is all about animals and all things nature. I am giving her this collection of books because they are beautifully illustrated and written. Great items for elementary school age children.

I bought several of the books in this series for my 7 year old niece. I love the cover designs because they look “fairytale-ish” and girly. My niece is learning to read and loves nature. She keeps all 3 books on her nightstand and has enjoyed going through every page and sounding out the names of each one. The information about each species/animal is very good and just enough to learn but not too much to keep their attention. If you have a child in your life that has every toy and you want to get them something that won’t clutter up their parents house and will serve a purpose then this is it. The pages are thick and images are beautiful!! Just buy the books you won’t regret it.

This is our second book from the series. The first one is Wonders of Nature which we (me and 7 year old daughter) know by heart by now.This one is focused on animals and is great as well! We read it everyday and purchased several for her friends' birthdays too!It doesn't have a ton of text, only the most important information on each species. Gorgeous illustrations as usual.

I have reviewed this as part of the set and find it, as well as the other two, to be extremely well written, will researched, and appropriate for all ages in elementary school – maybe even sixth grade. Glad my kids have the set now and will use it and enjoy it for many years

Beautiful, colorful pictures with interesting, factual nuggets of information that are readily and eagerly snatched up by eager little ears. So glad I ordered this lovely book for our little animal lover. It will give him hours of enjoyment.

The book was bigger than expected. It had bigger and better illustrations than I expected. The gilded edging impressed me. This is a hand me down book to your Children or Grand Children. Buy with confidence.
