Vent Axia VA100LT Bathroom Extractor Fan

Be aware that it isn't an exact fit for the old VA100LT that had probably been fitted about ten years previously. The main four screw holes are in the same place, so that's good. But the inlet for the cable has moved and the lip along the upper edge to retain the cover has changed, which made a simple replacement job into something requiring a bit of intelligence, due to it being sited just beside a feature in the surface of my bathroom tiles. Be aware, also, that the minimum time delay for switch-off on the one I received was about 2 mins 10 secs, which is longer than I'd prefer, but not bad enough to send it back. It's also not as quiet as I was hoping.The most important thing was that the holes were in the right place, so all-in-all I'm OK to stay with this piece. I wonder if I should get another now for ten years time...

This was to replace an existing one of the same model. The model has undergone some very slight modifications, mainly in terms of where the wiring enters the back of the unit, so a bit of fiddling required. Which was not too dificult. Even I managed! Happy with the purchase.

Only just got round to fitting this fan,it is different than the Vent Axia I had previously that had worked for twenty years, but a lot cheaper,so,as the new fan was smaller I was pleased that it fitted the aperture of the original, so a couple of tiles replaced, and it fitted well, as I am not an electrician I was unable to wire the fan so as it ran-on, after being switched off.I find it a little noisier than the previous one, but it does the job. So pleased with purchase.

This is the ideal electric fan for the bathroom. Quiet and yet effective - it really gets the steam out quickly when we are using the shower. The timer is a "must" and is very easy to adjust. The installation instructions are basic - but they do the job if you understand electrical installations - and you shouldn't be trying to install something like this if you don't!

I was a bit concerned that this may not be a genuine Vent Axia fan but although the packaging was plain the actually fan it contained was genuine, new and unused. Now working fine in my bathroom.
