Another good purador product
I usually use purador scalp therapy shampoo on my hair and decided to try their beard products for my beard. This oil seems very nice quality and helps hydrate my beard and the skin underneath. It reduces the flakiness that happens when your beard is all dry. When applying make sure to rub down under the beard onto your skin as well. I would give it a higher rating if it had a nice smell too. Smell isn't bad but just isn't anything fancy.

SURPRISINGLY GOOD!!
Use the squeeze applicator in the bottle to apply, easy peasy. It's not too heavy, and it slightly straightens, but also gives my beard some fullness, while also softening my beard. This makes it easier to style. The price is a bargain of bargains for an oil of this quality, and the bottle is HUGE, by beard oil standards. Probably the most bang for your buck out there.I use it in my morning regime. Not too heavy, and it last most of the day when used with a beard balm, or wax. I use a different oil for my night time maintenance.I'm AA, and this oil leaves my beard soft, moisturized, full, an feeling fantastic. It will definitely surprise you with the results.

Hard to beat this beard oil.
Given the quality of oils, volume, scent, and price I give this beard oil 5 stars. The only question is, will I get through such a large bottle before it goes bad? It does have grapefruit peel oil, which I'm guessing is for the preservative qualities. No matter how much I retry and retry beard oil, I'm not a fan of how it makes my beard look. I like the what it does for my skin underneath, and the overall health of my beard hair, but I don't like the separation and straightening effect it gives to the hairs. It's equivalent to not wanting an exaggerated, deliberate straightening and separation to the strands of hair on the head when you style it, versus a natural flow and texture that the natural pattern of the hair provides. I've been attempting to get the oil primarily to the roots and skin of the beard, but it always lessens the natural shape and pattern of the beard, to a degree. I'll have to work on it.UPDATE: 11/08/24I've been using this oil occasionally for just about a year. I think this is good oil. It tames my beard and gives it a groomed shape, but doesn't completely wreak the natural flow of the bead. And just as important for me, it doesn't add too much shine to the beard.

Love the Ingredients, Not the Smell
I bought this beard oil because it is made in the USA and I liked the ingredients. Unfortunately, I don't like the smell very much. It has grown on me a bit but is still far from my favorite. The good news is that the smell doesn't seem to last (or, I get used to it quickly), so I'm not smelling it all day long...So, what does it smell like? Well, it has a citrus vibe (not surprising given that it contains grapefruit and bergamut oil). It also contains sandalwood (which I love), but I think the Sandalwood and the citrus clash (at least inside *my* nose). So, it smells somewhat confused. "Am I on a tropical beach or deep in the woods somewhere?"Performance has been good overall. I have very dry skin, especially beneath my beard, and this has kept beard dandruff mostly at bay. It doesn't take much either (granted, I have a fairly short beard). It's a good overall value. Solid product for the price. I just wish I liked the smell of it more...

Not overly scented, kinda orange-y, nice. Also, good quality oil.
Three years ago I had a ZZ Top-length beard, and I went through a lot of different beard oils. I eventually settled on Pura D'Or, sometimes adding a few drops of cedar essential oil to my mixing bottle. But my wife said I looked more like Gandalf the Gray, so...snip.Now I've grown my beard out to several inches, and I wanted to have some oil to keep it soft and reduce split ends. I bought a bottle of Pura D'Or again, and I like it as much as before. With a shorter beard the oil gets on the skin underneath my beard (not as much of a problem with a long beard), but my skin likes it just fine--doesn't react to the oils or scent, and is maybe a bit softer actually. Anyway, I'm still happy with this product, regardless of my beard length. I really like the scent, which is mostly enjoyed while putting it on, and then dissipates within about 10 minutes so you aren't being distracted by it all day. Good stuff.
