Good sound. Great price.
I stumbled upon the HiFi Walker A1, while roaming around on Amazon. In addition, I the look of these and was wowed. In addition, I was in awe of certain features and specifications, which these had. Previously, I had never heard of HiFi Walker. Not to mention, I was shocked by the price tag. I figured I would give these a try.DESIGN: The design of the HiFi Walker A1 is nice, having a shiny, aluminum-alloy housing. The rear of the housing is shinier, which makes it a finger-print magnet. By default, plastic covers it. The left housing has a blue ring around it. The right housing has a red ring around it. I found out, which side is left and which is side is right. At the rubber part of each cable, you will see the letter L and R on the rear. It is not easy to see, however. Included are two additional ear tips (S,M,L). The ear tips are clear and made of silicone. There are medium ear tips on the earphones by default. The cable is a durable, double-twisted PU, which is internally made up of 15 oxygen-free copper. This is so the signal can be stable. I have pulled on this cable, but it will not give. Of course, I do not want to try the torture test, too much. Still, with regular use, it will survive. There is a Y-splitter, which is made of the same material, as the housing. The cable on the right has an in-line microphone and a play/pause control. This allows users to control their music tracks, as well as their calls. On most cables with a mic, it is usually on the left side. These are a bit different. The connector is 24K gold-plated jack attached toSOUND: The HiFi Walker has 9.22mm dynamic drivers, which is large for earphones. The frequency response is an UNBELIEVABLE, 10-70,000hz, which is Hi-Res Audio Plus. Initially, upon seeing that specification, I thought I was seeing things. I say Hi-Res Audio Plus because usually, Hi-Res Audio is at most, 40,000hz. I cannot understand how the designers at HiFi Walker pulls this off. I have never seen any sound device with that kind of frequency response, especially some small earphones. The sensitivity is 110 dB with an impedance of 16 ohms. The supposedly low, 16-ohm impedance, which they specified is a bit weird, as I have to turn devices up a bit more than normal for things to get loud. The sound is bright, however. Everything is crystal clear, clean and balanced, overall. The treble has a bit of sibilance on highs sounds. No distortion. In addition to everything, the noise-cancellation is great on these IEMs. I played some music, while the TV was up and could only hear the music. The music sounds excellent. Of course, these IEMs are made, primarily for that. Words sound crystal clear. The detail of background sounds i.e. instruments, drums, etc. of the music are heard, crystal clear. The bass is decent. I will mention the bass below. When using these on a PS4 controller, the volume level between 20-21 is high. Anything more would be a bit harsh on the ears. The sound from the Hifi Walker A1, gave perhaps the clearest, while gaming. I never thought I would experience such a clean sound when using earbuds or IEMs for that matter. The bass of the Hifi Walker A1 is clear and deep. Not very punchy, however. I prefer punchy bass. Still, it does not bleed into the mids. Good sub-bass. Nice balance between those and the highs.Considering, these are earphones, they have a good soundstage, which would rival an open-back headphone. Out of curiosity, I performed a test of some games. I tested the performance of the Hifi Walker A1 while playing various shooters on PS4 Pro. The first test was done while playing Call Of Duty WWIII. The most impressive thing was hearing how loud and clear the explosions were, whether far away or nearby. Once, a teammate used an Artillery Barrage killstreak. I was in awe of how the explosions gave a surprisingly, clean, loud, and punchy, sound. Then, a Glide Bomb killstreak was used. All I could hear was a clean and boom. Then, of course, the aftermath with the sound of shattering rocks and flying debris due to the nice lows. Also, I noticed the HiFi Walker A1 has good imaging. These handle directional sounds, exceptionally well. During matches, I could hear the dialogue of nearby teammates shouting the location of enemies, and other random sounds, throughout the map to the left and right of me with precision and clarity. Female voices sound great. That’s is where the mids come in. With the imaging, I knew what was going on around me and where the action was taking place on the map. It seems the sound magnifies toward when hearing sounds in a different direction. For example, each time my character looks in one direction, the sound increasingly amplifies in the direction and less in the opposite direction, where lesser actions were taking place. If my character, looks straight ahead, all sounds can be heard, equally. Hitman 2 on PSN. There was a part, where a massive explosion takes place. The explosion was punchy, along with the sound of debris, hitting the floor, sounded loud and amazingly, clear. The sounds around the environment, sounded clear, as well. I heard birds chirping, conversations of NPCs around the map, footsteps, etc. I was impressed.MIC: The speaker for the mic is underneath a plastic, three-button remote. On PSN, I did a test for the adjust mic settings. I could hear my voice, crystal clear. During gameplay, my voice could be heard clearly. The same can be said about receiving calls.VERDICT: I am in awe of how great these sound. Considering these are ridiculous Hi-Res specifications, the build, and other features, these are excellent for the price. Not to mention, they can perform with some top headphones out there. Great for music and surprisingly, good for gaming.

Great detail. But the bass and mid are too flat for my liking.
These earphones are definitely high definition. There's a lot of detail in the mid highs and highs. I can definitely hear everything in the song. And the noise isolation is good too. What I don't like though is how the bass is not that strong. And the mid isn't very strong either. So that ends up making the sound slightly unnatural sounding. I like a natural sound and I get a subtle hint of "manipulation" with these. I wouldn't necessarily buy them again, but for $25 they are pretty good earphones.

Why has no one reviewed these?!? Great product!
I've been looking for earbuds that not only deliver great sound, but also have an MEMS mic AND don't cost a lot. No way I'm paying 100 bucks for earbuds. Normally, I don't buy anything online that doesn't have a lot of reviews but I read up on these earbuds and took a chance based on reviews I found outside of Amazon. They are fantastic! If you're looking for sound that's heavy on bass, these aren't for you. If you're look for crystal clear, quality sound and an MEMS mic that also delivers clear, quality sound, these earbuds ARE for you. I'm super-happy I decided to give this product a try!

For £50 more the price you won't find better.
For the price you'd be forgiven in thinking these are not up to much.....and in this case you'd be wrong. These come presented in a superb little box with plenty of different ear tips and a rather nice drawstring bag. Also a nice touch having a Velcro cable tie too.Isolation on these is absolutely brilliant, nearly etymotic silence and of course this allows you to have the volume much lower which in turn protects your ears.Sound quality is excellent across the board.... a tad bass heavy.....but only a tad. The other frequencies are nigh on neutral and sound great with any genre's.Simply put......there's no better at this price, there's no better at under 50 either.!Easy 5 stars.Excellent.
