My baby girl loves these
I am a Montessori teacher so learning is important for me even at such a young age. I bought these when she was two months old and now she's three months. She is very interested in them. It helps to engage babies with you and work on their eye strength and will help her with vocabulary. People have the misconception that you can't teach babies so young or there is no point. But I disagree and these are a great first step for learning!

Large and sturdy high-contrast cards
The media could not be loaded. This is a lovely set of high-contrast cards from Banana Panda and would be an excellent baby gift! High-contrast cards are often recommended for babies as a means of providing developmentally-appropriate visual stimulation (i.e. using colors and patterns that babies are able to see and process), thereby supporting neurological development.ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:-large cards (see photo for comparison to a standard piece of construction paper)-well-made and sturdy-high-contrast images to support baby’s development-both recognizable and abstract images (e.g. bumble bee vs. shape patterns)-cards are reversible and show color-inverted images (see video)-packaged in a high-quality box with handle, making it a cute gift idea!-product includes instructions for how parents may use these cards, for anyone who needs a little guidanceMY EXPERIENCE:These cards immediately captured the attention of both my infant and toddler. My 4 month old was able to independently hold the images to view them and I have also propped them up for her to look at during tummy time. They hold her interest longer than images that do not have high-contrast colors/patterns.My favorite experience with these cards so far was when my 4 month old and 2.5 year old used them together. My toddler sat next to the baby’s play mat, holding up the cards and “teaching” the baby the labels for each. He also identified the colors and shapes for her. Both enjoyed the interaction! It was interesting to see how my toddler used his imagination to describe the more abstract images (e.g. he called the image of two circles “ice cream”). While I intended to use these cards with the baby, I am now able to see how they can be useful with my toddler as well - building his relationship with his sister, working on descriptive words and phrases, using his imagination, etc.CONCLUSION:I am very happy with this set of cards and am confident that they will continue to be well-loved in our home! I intend to purchase more sets as gifts and, based on the quality, look forward to exploring other products from this brand.

Expands your baby's world of visual cues
This is a well-made set of flash cards. The cards are printed on both sides of thick cardboard and are large enough for baby to easily see but not so large as to be hard to hold or to carry.Calling these flash cards for infants might sound confusing. These actually are "flash cards," in that you flash them at the baby, but they're obviously not the kind of better-known question/answer flash cards used in school. These are meant to be part of the together time between a baby and an adult. By showing these cards to a baby while spending your normal time playing with him/her, you're giving the baby's eyes and mind something different (and a little more challenging) to focus on. Sometimes an infant can spend a lot of time looking at the same thing, whether it be the same face or the same object. These cards, with their bold tones and simple shapes, expand the visual repertoire of the baby.None of the cards tell a story or anything, and while some of the cards' artwork seems representative in nature (a bug or a cat, say), for the baby they represent new shapes and color combos. It might not seem like much, but it makes a difference (and the included guide explains why). Many parents instinctively give their babies an assortment of vocal cues to listen to, everything from cooing to making silly noises to forming exaggerated words. Think of these cards as expanding the baby's sensory scope with new visual cues in a similar way to those sound cues. We've been using these cards with our grand-kids for the past six months, and it's been pleasant (although I can't yet guarantee how much difference the cards have made at this point). For the price, this is a nice set.

Sturdy & Slobber Proof!!
I really wish I would have known about these awesome cards when my 7mo old was first born. I printed out a bunch of black and white contrast photos and designs as those are especially fascinating to them. You can imagine those didn’t last too long, mostly because my 4yo always wanted to hold them up to show to her little sister. However, THESE cards are great! Super sturdy and slobber proof. At 7mo she is still very much interested and enjoys the colors on the opposite side. This is a no-brainer to start introducing your baby early on!
