Great headset for remote learning/working
I have been monitoring this headset for a while and decided to buy it once its price was dropped. My decision was absolutely right - this is very good headset for work!!!I have several headsets with mic from conventional to gaming one - Sennheiser SC60, ADV Nismo Jr, JBL Quantum 400, etc. Each has it's own pros and cons. Sennheiser SC60 has been my go-to headset for years - not fancy, but very functional. No complaints whatsoever... Then I switched to ADV Nismo Jr for small/light form factor recently. Switching headsets back and forth based on my need (SC60 while presenting, Nisom while listening as a participant). JBL Quantum is by far best one I owned, but not for everyday long hour video/teleconference calls. Nismo lacks control and voice loop back. Then, here comes Razer Ifrit. Initially, I was looking for USB Sound Card to control sound better (mute, volume control, etc). I found Razer USB Audio Enhancer DAC first. Then, I realized that I could have this DAC if I purchase Ifrit headset.Pros:Mic is clear and crisp. I am not a sound engineer, but to me, it is ver clear with less noise. Its condensor mic quality might be better than SC60's noise canceling mic.Audio quality and sound isolation is very good. Unfortunately, this is not audiophile grade headset, but great for work (not sure about gaming though, sorry). I can clearly hear what others are saying while my cat is meowing in front of me or vacuum is running behind me.Control is spot-on. Not fancy as touch screen, but conventional button to mute the mic and control sound volume thru the spin switch. This is not your dream remote, but its functionality is superb. Added bonus: I can connect one more 3.5mm TRRS headset to the controller, but no independent control - expecting too much now.Cable length is very adequate. Most people might disagree with me on wired headset fantasy. Yes, wireless is great, but for me, plain old wired device is the best in terms of practicality. Razer is generous on its cable. It's long enough you could roam around your room while conference calls.Form factor might be subjective. I liked this design - behind your neck and over your ear hook. When you have a long conversation (2+ hours), you would really appreciate the light weight and behind the neck design. If you are wearing glasses, I would recommend to flip this and place it on your collarbone instead (mic will go to your right side). In this way, you don't need to worry about double duty on your ears (looks weird, so not recommends for video calls).Cons:This headset is earphone format. When you wear earphones for long hours, it is not so good for your hearing. I have to remind myself to take off while I am not on the call.Once a while, you feel something on your ears and need to adjust the band since there is non width control strap (one size fits all). If you are unlucky, this will give you headache right away. So far, I am lucky enough to wear this all day 7-8 hours.Bottomline:This is great USB/3.5mm condesor mic headset for remote learning/working (probably good for gaming too). Highly recommended!!! Thanks for reading this long review, folks. Stay safe and positive!!!

not bad for a pair of work headsets
light weight is probably the strong suit for these headsets. You can hardly notice they are on your head when you are wearing them. Normal headset mic. The ear buds are on the large side but function normally. these headsets arent great but arent terrible either.

Great quality for the compromise
Doesn’t mess up hair with the usual “dent” of typical gaming headphones. Gets slightly uncomfortable on the upper ear where it rests after about 3ish hours but that’s perfectly fine since I only need these for discord and in-game lobby. Volume and mute controller is actually pretty sick and I didn’t know it had it when I bought it. Microphone isn’t insanely good, but for the compromise of lighter, and over ear instead of over head headphones... it’s better quality than the four others I’ve tried actually. So I’m keeping these babies.

Fantastic, but painful
Everything about this product is just fantastic... except one thing. The sound quality is superb however prolonged use can cause that inner ear pressure and even condensation of sorts as your head emits body heat and the ear buds, by way of providing such damn good sound quality also ensure an equally good seal - trapping heat and moisture in your ear, per se. That being said, my biggest complain is the frame itself. It's uncomfortable. Too thick - especially where it rests over the ear. The weight and pressure, over time, becomes downright painful. It's not as thin, soft and pliable as it should or could be. By day two of trying this out, it was so painful to wear I found myself inadvertently positioning the back rest higher up on the back and even top of my head JUST to get the "ear hooks" to NOT rest on my ears - which defeats the whole purpose of going with something that is behind the head vs. over the head. Everything else about this product is great, except that all of that is a moot point if it's utilization is negated by the users inability to be comfortable for prolonged periods of time. I have been working from home for a year now - taking customer calls, etc. and I also do a lot of online gaming. Needless to say, if you're wearing this for any length of time, the cons (pain and discomfort) far outweigh and undermine all the pros of this product - which is unfortunate because other than that, it's solid all around. Maybe other users have a different experience? Maybe it's just how close my ears are positioned/laid back on my head that it creates pressure which others would not experience? Nonetheless, in MY experience, the rating dropped because of the sheer discomfort.

Worst and most expensive pair of headphones I've ever purchased
1) Audio quality - Extremely poor: So poor, I have to use an equalizer and bass booster to just make them usable. Without that, the frequencies are so muddled that I am unable to distinguish speech and details. The "audio enhancer" that is marketed is just blatant advertising lies. It does nothing to add to the quality of the sound. I've owned $10 walmart endcap headphones that sound better than this pair.2) Build quality - Extremely poor: The design of these are terrible. The halo that fits around your head is the cheapest and hardest plastic available, making it impossible to adjust this fit. What's more, the molding lines are so sharp and jagged, they rub your ear to the point of breaking skin as you move your head. If you're thinking you might place the halo on your shoulders and plug the buds in, that's not going to work either. While providing you enough USB and lead cable to plug into your computer in another room, the wire from the headphone bud to the head halo is so short, you have to wear the painful halo or you won't be able to reach your ear with the bud. You can flip the halo over if you're ok with your stereo signal being reversed. There isn't a lot available for non-over-the-head PC audio but I would implore you to continue looking and purchase something other than these. These are so bad, I will never purchase another Razer product.

Qualidade de som é fundamental!
É a segunda vez que compro o Razer Ifrit, para manter um em cada local de trabalho. Gosto muito do desempenho desse fone e também do microfone acoplado. Além do mais, é discreto, isto me agrada.

Very nice product. Does what it advertises.
My wife uses this headset for her meetings from home. She has an aversion to regular headsets as they mess her hair. She's really happy with this, even though she is not a gamer.

Overall ok.
Sound and mic quality are acceptable. Not the ultra clear voice like those standalone mic but decent quality over discord/zoom.My only complain about this is the earphone designs. It keeps popping out of my ear. I have to change the silicon pad to the smallest and stuff the whole thing into the ear to prevent it from falling out.

Audio quality is garbage!
I purchased multiple of these for group live streaming - the behind the head feature for hair control, the multiple mics into a single adapter and the overall aesthetic, not to mention brand name and it being tailored for streamers made this look like a good call. And the fact that it is a full but minimal headset makes it good for preventing mic feedback when multiple people are on screen together and have to hear audio from your machine.BUT DO NOT BUY. I have been around the ringer with a total of 3 of these headsets. There is no position to put the microphone in that doesn't sound buzzed with fuzzy audio (even placing it as far from your mouth as possible which makes you look like an idiot). There is no decibel setting that doesn't make you sound blown out. Even compression and audio filters can't really compensate for this garbage mic.The optional adapter that is supposed to increase the audio quality does NOTHING.One of my worst purchases ever...

Not impressed
I have a bigger head but these don't stay in one place on my head. The mic people had issues hearing me and was frustrating to use.
