That's how I see it. The only adult thing I saw was the question as to why Joker is allowed to murder, escape and then do it all over again. Reid is a compassionate man but not a smart one. Now he'll share some of the blame for future murders. So will Batman and many others.

This story mixes a couple regular Batman villains nicely. The ultimate climax with Mr. Reid is excellent. I give this only four stars out of five because the art work is a very weak style. A lot of children could draw this stuff.

Good read.Exactly what one would have expected from a comic story from yesteryear.Reasonable for kids around 10 plus age.

I picked up this series because of its similarity to Batman the Animated Series, and was happy to find that it is! This read like a BTAS episode in comic form, from the art to the storyline. I'm happy to have stumbled across it and I look forward to reading the rest of the series!

My heart hurts. To borrow from Stan Lee, ' nuff said. Argle bargle jargon jargle, hurtful idiocy is needed for poor goodreads. Accuracy, brevity and precision are no longer prized.

Another great saga of Batman, Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl against our favorite villainous clown and Riddler. A wealthy pharmacist has put out a bounty on Joker causing all of Gotham to want to kill him.

Please note--this is set in the DC Animated Universe. So while Batman is still kind of grim, he is nothing like in comics from the mainstream DC Universe. It has the animated feel to it from both writing and art, thus making it an enjoyable read to anyone who likes the old animated series.

The drawing reminds me of the Batman cartoon we saw growing up and the story is short and interesting. Recommended as a quick read comic book.
