Being a fiddle maker and bird carver I needed a small branding iron of about 1 inch in length to mark the inside of a fiddle. My iron logo design was rather detailed and I was worried such a small design would be too small to be ledgeable. I must say I am impressed with the quality of this branding iron. Even letters smaller than a 1/16 inch are clearly ledgeable and leave a remarkable imprint. This vendor includes instructions on how to obtain the best imprint in heating and pressing the iron. A little practice is required to obtain the best imprint on your wood project. Creating and shipping took a few weeks but was well worth the wait. I'm very happy this purchase and highly recommend purchasing from this vendor.

This was an absolutely seamless transaction. I've used it several times since it arrived a few days ago and the brand is EXACTLY the same as the image I provided. This is a very nice item, well made from what little I've used it so far. I was unaware it was made overseas, or maybe I simply overlooked that information, so the delivery took longer than I anticipated. But it was well packed, and I have used it several time with great results. The ordering page was a bit confusing as there was no visual of the actual item I customized except for over their logo and page design. As such I was concerned about getting what I ordered, but it is what I needed.

The metal is very detailed, even with some letters that were exceedingly small, their outlines were still visible on the leather. This wood branding iron far exceeds my expectations and then some. Honestly, I thought it was going to be crap but I am here to tell you that it is not. The quality is awesome, size is spot-on, the design is exactly what I wanted, and it is very simple to use. Seriously, I have been telling everyone I know who has been needing a stamp for pottery or a branding iron for woodworking about this. And, if you are wondering how I heated it up, I used my little kitchen blowtorch on it for about a minute? Maybe? I don't remember exactly, but just make sure to point it away from you. When I heated it up, I pointed the blowtorch flame directly in the center of the brand for even heat. I was bit worried, at first, but I was able to hold onto the handle without either getting burned or even feeling any heat at all from the flame or the heated brand.All in all, I suggest this brand 100%.

Might be user error but I have yet to get a full burn of the design on any type of wood. It’s hot from a torch but doesn’t make the full design. Disappointed
