We were in search of an idea that held our string lights on our pergola and these fit perfectly! We were surprised to find that Home Depot, Lowe's or TruValue did not have anything for such problem. We are planning to paint them the same color as our pergola so the white does not stand out. I'm so excited to not have drooping string lights on my pergola and not have to use Command strips since those just fell right off after rain or sun exposure. Buy these!!!

these's Flat Alumahooks did not work for my Alumawood Patio's the hook part was too thick , so I return them... but I did come up with using 1/4 in Clear Tubing and took White Cup Hooks from Walmart and Tubing from LOWES OR HOME DEPOT and trim off round part of Cup Hooks and stuck it into one end of Tubing making sure that round part above screw is in to where you see Clear Tubing bit past round part , then leave about 2 1/2 inches of Tubing and push it in too one of groves . Making sure that Tubing with Round part of Cup Hook is all in , you may have too trim a bit off Tubing to shorten it ….I used this to hang large Xmas Ornaments Ball Shape from my Alumawood Patio .

If you have an Alumawood patio cover, these are great to hang string lights from. Probably work great for a variety of things. Make sure of the groove depth on the "beadboard" ceiling of your patio cover. I tried the round ones first, and the diameter is too big for my "beadboard" grooves, so I went with the flat ones. They work well. Make sure you buy extras so you can have 2 hooks going around corners.

Worked well with hanging lights on porch. I did not want to put holes in siding, therefore this was a great alternative. I had to cut down to about 2 “ and then added caulk. I hung the lights 72 hrs later. They worked like a charm.

These match our alumawood white pergola perfectly. But they are not very strong. I wouldn’t use them for much more than hanging Christmas lights... Disappointed in how difficult they are to get in between the joist and the cover. Broke a couple of them trying to shove them in.
