Not as sturdy
They are truly made to hang just light things on. I bought to hand on the side of a loft bed for my son. It's made for the thickness of a door so I don't have that extra support on a thinner wood that it's hanging on. My bad, I need to read the specks better. It works but not fully how I intended it to and the plastic isn't as sturdy as I would have liked

I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT
If you have a thicker door DONT BUY. I ordered this for my purses and hang it on my closet, guess what happened. It wouldn’t fit. So I had to force it to fit which was okay until I tried to close the door. Couldn’t close it and by the second push it snapped. Worst product ever and I regret buying it.

Might work on a really really skinny door?
Plastic seems very brittle and the mouth that fits over the door isn't as wide as it looks in the picture. So when I tried to stretch it over door frame and it immediately snapped without any weight put on it.
