This carb is great
Easy install. Old blower runs like new and the thing blows snow like it should. It powers through what the plow stacks up at the end of drive with ease. I used all the part either in replacing the carb or on other small engine projects. The clamps work on fuel applications on some outboards perfectly too. So, you can expect to waste nothing from this amazing kit. I am buying 2 addl for replacing carbs and spare parts.

Works great
Everything bolted right on from my old carb. Bolted this new one to the 10hp tecumseh on my snowblower. Primed a couple times and fired right up. Runs smooth. I didn't use any of the extra parts as they didn't work on my machine plus they seem awfully cheap.

Great price for what your getting.
I replaced my existing carburetor with this one and the engine is running pretty good now. I was glad that they included a new shut-off cock because the original one started leaking after replacing the carburetor. It was most convenient to have a new one on hand to immediately install.

Great Replacement for a 15 yo Snow Blower Carb. Perfect right out of the box
My 15 yo snow blower developed a pin hole in the side of the carburator housing, causing it to run rough and leak fuel. This kit was a perfect replacement.Only two negatives:The include spark plug was not an exact match. It would likely work but why risk it.The primer hose was too short. Thats okay I prefer the yellow tygothane (doesn't need changing as often)Amazing difference in the smoothness of the engine, with no additional adjustments.

Great economical option!!
Put this on a yard machine snow blower that would no longer start, bolted this on pushed the primer half a dozen times and machine fired first pull. Well worth the price. The only thing I did was transfer the old bowl with the drain in it to the new carb. Highly recommend! Can't really say much about longevity being I just installed it, but as others have said for $20 I'd install the same one next year if needed.

WORKS BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL
My snowblower (Ariens HMSK80) now starts and runs like a new machine. It was always a bear to start, especially when it was cold out (like in winter!!). When I throttled up it would give a blast of black smoke, stumble and then carry on. NO more!! This new carb was a perfect fit and straight forward to install. No leaks. The machine now starts easily, runs smoother and at full throttle runs at a higher rpm. Used it yesterday after a 20 cm dump of snow. It worked better than it did brand new (1997). The new carb has no drain on the bottom but just shut off the gas and run it dry before putting it away. I’ll look at swapping over the old carb bowl with spring loaded drain this spring. I’m thinking or ordering another one to have as a spare. As cheap as doing a carb kit on the old one.

Non Adjustable, Missing Welch Plug
Installed it on my 10hp tecumseh with all new lines, filter, etc. Could not get it to even start reliably, nonetheless run. When it did run, it would stall out shortly after or under load. When I pulled off the bowl on the carb, the gasket had expanded significantly, and I noticed there was a Welch plug missing. I installed one I had lying around and replaced the non-adjustable bowl nut with an adjustable one. Machine runs great now. Having said all that, getting all the other bits and bobs in one package was nice, although the spark plug was not the one I expected. In short, get a fully adjustable carb from another company.

Great fuel system rebuild for an old MTD with Tecumseh Snowblower
Well made parts. Great value. Snowblower starts with one pull (although it also has an electric starter too). Idles evenly at the lowest throttle position. Spark plug brand is not something I recognize. Since the machine had a new brand name plug before last winter, left the kit plug as a spare. For the fuel filter, I used a small piece of extra fuel line I had to add the filter between the shutoff valve and the existing fuel line to the carburetor from the fuel tank. Only difference between the 40 yr old carb and the new one was what appears to be some sort of idle screw which the new carb did no have. The hole was plug so one could probably move the old screw over to the new carb which I did not do. It also does not have the spring loaded drain plug for the float bowl which was on the original. But you can drain the bowl by unscrewing the retention bolt. I did not check if this bolt has some sort of drainage hole built in. Overall a fine product kit.

Perfect fit
Bolted right on everything was a match for my 8 horse brigs snowblower only complaint is fuel filter nipple broke of super easy trying to install but honestly the carb alone is worth the money however primer was perfect fit plug was identical for the price think this is the best deal I've got in my life got the blower from the dump for 20 bucks bought this kit and poof working blower for 50 bucks don't hesitate if it looks the same buy it it does work and work well!!!!! Thanks for such a great product at such a reasonable price

Perfect fit
This carb fit perfectly on my 20yr old Murray snowblower. The fittings were all threaded where they needed to be, and was able to reuse old brackets from old carb directly onto this one. Very happy. Installed, unit fired right up. Tecumseh engine is running strong again. No sense in buying carb parts and trying to rebuild when you can just slap this baby on and fire it up! Happy I didn't waste time with rebuilding the old one. The pics are from the old carb and cover that I took off...
