Size:3 Pack ProDen PlaqueOff animal is an easy way for those dog and cat owners to care for their pet's teeth who don't have the patience or inclination to brush their dog or cat's teeth regularly. The product comes in powdered form and it is simply added on a daily basis to dry or wet food. Dogs and cats like the taste of the small amount that is added. Proden plaqueoff animal does not rely on topical application or friction. The product is ingested and works systemically. Additional Information The natural compound in the product comes out through the saliva and works to break down the bacterial biofilm that forms on the teeth and gums. This is how the natural bacteria in the mouth take hold onto the teeth and gums, colonizing and creating the oral problems of plaque and tartar, bad breathe and gingivitis. It does not change the ph of the mouth or kill off the normal levels of bacteria. Proden plaqueoff has been proven to reduce plaque and tartar on the teeth and gums, depending on composition, diet and how long it has been there. It then works to prevent bad breath, plaque and tartar from returning. Patients generally begin to see results over a 2-8 week period, and will see further benefits with continued use. Proden plaqueoff animal is made from a specific strain of selected seaweed harvested from above scandinavia. This seaweed has developed a natural defensive mechanism against bacterial biofilm. The product is made only from this seaweed and has no additives or chemicals added. It is human grade and human tested.

This product has been CHANGED! No longer the wonderful product we loved for years.
We gave this to our dogs for years and really liked it. However, the product that arrived January 30, 2018 was VERY different, and not in a good way. I have uploaded a picture. On the left is what it used to look like. On the right, the new product. It just looks and smells like dirt. The smell and the mixture is very different. This is much lighter and finer than before. I don't feel like I can safely give this to my dogs.PLEASE PLEASE do not change this product. You HAD a great product, why change now?

My Vet was impressed!
My vet kept harping on me about having my dogs teeth cleaned. I didn't like the idea of having her put under anesthesia or the expense. Finally I found this product & gave just 1 scoop a day for my 45 lb pup. It had become routine & I didn't think about it, but the next time I took my dog to the vet she had a big grin & said my pups teeth looked great & asked what did I do. I told her about Proden PlaqueOff. She later asked me to write down the product info so she could offer it for sale in her office. Big smiles all around.

It definitely works miracles, albeit slowly.
I see some negative reviews here posted because the customer believes the product doesn't work. The product DOES work, it just works slowly, and I for one appreciate that fact.My dog, a 4-year-old 100lb Rhodesian Ridgeback had never had her teeth cleaned and consequently had a bad plaque problem. A dark brown coating on her canines, mostly, and gingivitis. The anesthesia and cleaning was going to be hundreds of dollars and I don't want my dog anesthetized unless absolutely necessary. My father, who owns a Goldendoodle, told me about this product. He uses it religiously and his dog has never needed his teeth cleaned in 11 years. He made sure to emphasize that it would take several months to see a difference.I bought my first 180 gram (large size) jar in November 2016. It lasted approximately 6 months. In the first couple months, I noticed that her gingivitis was gone. At the end of the six months, I noticed that the plaque was much, much lighter in color and thinner on my dog's teeth(it was really bad). I'm about one month into my second jar, and I can now scrape the plaque off with a fingernail. This is a wonderful, easy-to-use and effective product. I expect that I'll use it for the rest of my dog's life. She likes the taste and there's no need to disguise it in her food, I just put two scoops on top of her kibble morning and afternoon. It's cost me about $50 for two jars, and I expect the plaque to be completely gone well before I finish the second. Compared to $400 for a cleaning, multiple times over the course of her life, as well as putting my dog under general anesthesia, this is an amazing deal.

but so far it's done a good job for my dog's teeth and breath
My dog had a lot of tartar and stinky breath. I started giving him this about 3 weeks ago and could smell a difference in his breath after 2 weeks. Then today, I was able to pull off a big chunk of tartar off a molar with my thumbnail. On another tooth, the tarter disintegrated as I scraped it with a fingernail. I've brushed their teeth regularly, given them marrow bones to chew on which resulted in a couple of broken teeth, and spent a lot of money on cleanings by the veterinarian. Nothing has worked as well as Plaque-Off. I'm sure results vary from dog to dog, but so far it's done a good job for my dog's teeth and breath.

ROCKS AND SAND....SERIOUSLY?!?!
I normally don't have an issue with Proden, but the last batch I got on Jan 12, 2018 smelled and looked abnormal. I literally think it was dirt. Not impressed. Proden, please contact me about a refund as it says it's non refundable.

I noticed a huge decrease in plaque on all 3 of my dogs teeth after using for over month. I give them one large scoop every morning on their food. I am a vet student and vey anal about my dog's teeth so I was interested to see if this product actually works. Before adding this powder, my dogs received a dental chew every day and I noticed they still had noticeable plaque. After adding this, I have noticed their teeth are significantly cleaner. I was very skeptical about using this, but now after seeing the difference I am all for this product

Vet claims to have seen stunning results AND she doesn't sell this in her clinic
Dogs don't mind the taste, but I hide it (and their other supplements) in canned food. My vet recommended it (and they DO NOT sell it) and said to get it from Amazon. She said she has seen older dogs who cannot undergo anesthesia for a cleaning go from severe tartar/plaque build-up to moderate in six months. We are giving it to our 11 year-old (who just had 15 teeth extracted BEFORE we started using this product) and our two 3-year-old pomeranians who have never had a dental cleaning. One of the young dogs has epilepsy and the vet is concerned about putting him under for the cleaning, so we're trying this in combination with some dental chews.**Update - I bought this stuff in October 2016. It is now Jan. 2017. Today we went to the vet and she was very pleased with my pomeranians' teeth (two dogs). Both dogs turned three in September (2016) and they still don't need their teeth cleaned. Vet said the gingivitis she noted in October is gone and there is just some soft tartar remaining. I do use this powder almost every day in conjunction with oravet chews about once a week (vet said to increase those to daily).

I have NOT used this product for a dog that ...
I have NOT used this product for a dog that already had plaque. My goal was to keep my dogs from developing plaque and to avoid expensive, potentially dangerous cleanings at the vet. I started giving this to my Pembroke Welsh Corgi when he was five months old. He's now almost three years old and his teeth are perfectly white.
