The first time using them and they rubbed the tire while hauling a car and frayed. I bought a cheaper set that has lasted a lot longer before it frayed. I think I might just stick with the cheaper ones from now on because I can buy 2 almost 3 sets with the ratchets for the price I paid for these.

I bought 8 straps ( already had the ratchets ). Used them as a lasso because I didn't want to risk scratching the rims on two brand new cars. Plus I believe they secure the car better to the deck that way. They worked perfectly. Very happy with quality and super fast shipping

I would have given 5 stars except for the attention to detail in their description. I assumed they would be rated at around 3300 WLL. They we were not. The tag says around 1600 WLL (sorry, I am writing this after already returning them). Using 4 of them to strap the wheels to my trailer would only give me a Working Load Limit of 6400 lbs. Not good when you're hauling 3/4 and 1 Ton trucks.However, If you can get by with the lower WLL, I would recommend them.

You can't go wrong with vulcan. They offer great, dependable products. If you do a lot of hauling you need these.

These work great, I use them two different ways, thru the rim on a Dodge Viper and around the tire on a all original 1933 Ford Sedan with original wire wheels. Both ways secure the car with ease, I still use a safety strap on the front and rear just to be safe.*****FYI, MAKE SURE if you go around the tire that the strap is not touching/rubbing anything sharp, they will cut easy...that's why I had to buy these and still use a safety strap.*****

They need a longer cut sleeve on end wide rims tend to fray strap on loop end in the sleeve was just 4" longer would be awesome product

Very nice quality and they stand out have used them a couple time really like them!
