Excellent Pocket Knife
I got this knife for a friend of mine after hearing about the VG10 alloy and researching it. He really liked it and so I decided to get it for myself. The blade is literally razor sharp (smooth arm= Check). I am curious to test the durability of this blade. More to come on that later...

great knife, poor assembly.
Very lightweight but thats not always a good thing. I personally like a little weight to my knife but that's not the reason for a 3star review. The carbon fiber is REAL, I'm not sure why the other review said it wasn't. The titanium is real too, if that's a question. My complaint is regarding the actual craftmanship, I find it to be poor quality. The first thing i noticed was the boss on the blade was coming loose. today, it fell off. The aluminum thumb boss is supposed to be threaded but the threads are completely gone, probably from improper assembly torque. I decided to check the other screws on the knife. I discovered the clip screws were all loose and one is crooked and the threads were also stripped. This happened to my last Camillus knife, the clip fell off because ths screws backed themselves out. I lost that knife and bought this one to replace it.The last thing i noticed was, by the locking mechanism, there is a section of titanium that is missing and not supporting the carbon fiber. I fear it will crack since that area sees a lot of use and it's unsupported.I would buy this knife if you take it apart, out thread lock on everything, and reassemble.

worth getting
One of my first knifes and it reached my expectations. As sharp as could be when i received it. Good choice. highly recommended.

Not real Carbon Fiber - manufacturer falsely advertises this non-feature.
I was stoked to add this to my burgeoning folder collection because it filled a nice niche in terms of quality materials and value (i.e. price). However, upon holding it for just a minute, I realized that the scales are definitely not "Carbon Fiber" as advertised by the manufacturer (Camillus). This cheapo import blade is bad in many ways, which I may have expected based on the low price. However, what I didn't expect was it to be actually made from cheap G-10 with only a super-thin laminate of (possibly real) carbon fiber bonded on top - for aesthetic (and dishonest) reasons only.Spyderco also makes many imported knives like this, but at least they clearly market them as "Carbon Fiber/G-10 composites".Would never have wasted my money on this had I knowm, but at least now I know better than to trust Camillus again. It's a shame, but I'll live on with my decent collection of solid C.F. folders that could out-perform this thing without even thinking.Don't waste your hard-earned $, kids!

My eyes were bigger than my stomach. This knife was too small for me. I didn't read the description ,my fault.
The knife was too small for me. I sent it back unopened. It looked like a fine knife.
