This roller makes a beautiful pie crust or rolled cookies. I love it.

Used on porcelain clay. Pattern that was carved on the rolling pin was too light and did not produce a noticeable pattern. The embossing was too faint and not useable.

Good for cookie dough.

The design on the roller is nice but it leaves a shallow impression . . . not near as dramatic as pictured.

I love this rolling pin! It is so unique and makes for a GREAT GIFT!I have several now and really enjoy baking with them. It is well made and easy to use. The imprint is well-defined and awesome.

I buy embossed rolling pins to use with my pottery building. While the design is beautiful, cut is very light so transfer is difficult

Very much like the rose designs on this roller. It makes nice delineated lines in the clay. Make sure to clean right away after use as the clay can dry into the crevasses of the design. Most will probably flake off. It is smaller than a standard rolling pin. Which is okay as most of the things I use it for are smaller, but not quite what I was expecting based on the pictures.

i bought this to use on clay, the design is so shallow that a standard lace fabric is more dynamic. I am keeping it only because it is too much of a bother to return it. If you are buying this for baking cookies, it may work - don't know for sure!!
